Since when is Martinez Sanchez someone who wins 83% of points on her 1st serve, 79% for the tournament so far (stats throught the 1st set)? :confused: I've looked at the Wta stats and Martinez Sanchez is not in the top 10 in 1st serve % won, #10 in that category is 67.4% won on 1st serve. For the sake of comparison, Serena is #1 in 1st serve % won at 73.6%.

It's not just against the top players. She choked away massive leads against Cetkovska in Acapulco and against Kanepi in Miami and I think she had match-points on both occasions before losing.
