On her website it said she injured her wrist at 1-0 (15-15). She called the trainer, but she could not continue. Today she will get a MRI-scan of her wrist.
She had injured her wrist before. Late 2007, just before or during the Dutch Masters I believe in December where she lost to Renée Reinhard and tried to compete at the AO which did not do much good for her wrist.
I hope it is not too serious...

There is an update on Misa's wrist on her website. I hope this is a good translation. ;)
The MRI showed she had an inflamed and irritated tendon along the cubit on the outside of the wrist. She will have to wear a brace for the next 2 weeks. After that she will have another MRI to determine if it is getting better.
There is also a heavy build-up of fluid on the side of the inlammation and it will take 2-6 weeks before she will be o.k.
She is not going to play Toronto, because she doesn't want to take that risk. US Open is not sure yet. That decision will be made later.
Another setback
Hope she has a good and quick recovery.
