Why don’t we have a Wozniak thread in the Canada forum? I’m assuming they deleted it due to lack of activity, but there’s still a Sonya Jayaseelan thread in the Americas forum.
I thought Alex’s ranking in 2008 was a bit inflated; her big win in Stanford was against players who were not feeling 100%. In 2009 she proved that she deserved it. Then came the injuries in 2010 and the slow climb back in 2011. She only just turned 25.
It’s nice to see her playing such good tennis now. She leads McHale by a set and 5-2, winning the big points so far.
Who is the second best player in the Americas? Wozniak could play two of the other contenders, McHale and Lepchenko, in the same tournament.

We do have a Wozniak thread, you just have to set the dates on the threads to go back more than a month from the last post (setting below all the other threads.She used to have her own subforum within the Canadian forum, but that didn't have enough activity. They really should delete this thread, though, as we also have a general Canadian tennis thread and move Sonya's thread to Canada's forum.
