Monica owns Patty and beat Lena 3 and 2 last year. I expect a quick straight setter, probably 6-4 6-3

there is absolutely no comparison between eleni lasy year and this year. She has improved tremendously and though I give the edge to Seles, Eleni is quite capable of sending the match into a tough 3-setter. If the match does go into 3 sets, I expect Eleni to win. Come on Lena!!! Grab those needed points...:cool:

Daniilidou is in the Spirlea, Mauresmo, Schiavone mold and this type of player can give Monica trouble. They are able to loop her around and then throw in a hard drive to end the point.

I have tremendous respect for Eleni, and I've enjoyed seeing her progress. If she were not playing Monica, I would be rooting for her. However, she is playing Monica, and while her game has improved tremendously, I don't think she's in Monica's league at this point.

That said, I wish Eleni all the best in the future. :)

I also think Seles will win, but I hope for a better score, 4-6, 7-5, 7-6 for Eleni.
