Venus picks up her second title of the season and 9th career title overall. She was far too good for Lisicki in the first set but the German really took it to Venus in the second set and she was almost able to send it to a decider, but not quite. Still a great week for her though, which sees her rejoin the Top 10 at #9. Venus has narrowed the gap between her and Hantuchova to less than 400 points now - it should be an interesting next few weeks as she aims to wrestle the #1 spot from her rival!!
