Actually, this is a very good sign for Wimbledon... Every year she has lost in the 3rd round at the French, shes won Wimbledon.....

I must be the only Venus fan that is okay with this lost

the only one that feels Venus gave it her all( Wowed at how she battled back against red hot player in the first and second rounds when it looked like she was out) saving match point

understandably came out flat against quality opponent, almost put things back together in the second but couldn't quite do it.

Nope, I'm okay with it too.
It's good to be a fan, but you have to be practical. If any of you actually thought Venus could win the FO, you should never go into sports betting.

Venus should be very proud of her achievement at the French.
She has a better record than most people considered clay
specialists, Likes of Mauresmo, Patty.... She reached the
final in 2002, something few greats on both men and women
did not accomplish.
Only very few players who beat Venus or serena during a grandslam tournament went to win. What that suggests is so
many play their best against Venus and Serena all the time.

Lets not jinx it BUT I'm thinking the same thing...maybe three wimbledons in a row? Something Serena couldnt even do.....

I think this is her worst loss at the french, maybe she can still change things for wimby

Yea, there are several great players who have never won the FO either and grew up on clay. I don't give a shit if she never wins it either as I hate every thing about the FO with a passion.:tape: I also think a lot of the players will be happy when clay is over also.

you're always gonna be disappointed by these losses especially at slams but honestly, Dubai & Acapulco are still mighty cool.

Yeah I am looking forward to the rest of the year as well. However, she still in the doubles and I hope they can go all the way.
