Can everyone just stop making threads and stop talking about Venus's loss! THIS IS THE FRENCH OPEN FOR CHRIST SAKE....its not like we didn't know this was coming...every year we get our hopes up for the williams sisters and it always turns out this way...unfortunately yes there were some sketchy things this year with the scheduling and tough draw, but that only adds to the fact that they knew she wasnt going to win (even if we were holding out some hope)..so just stop...im not too disappointed...im come to terms with the fact that venus wont win the french

its sad she just didnt seem into it today.but credit to agnes s.u know venus needs or needed to consult some clay specialist to reinvent her game but she just isnt willing to do this so the french will not come to her.things happen for a reason.yes she should have won but didnt.its not the end of the world geez.people laughing and snickering about her loss is childish and pathetic actually and for golovin to say what she did about venus its a shame she isnt ranked higher and can get back on the court.its just not funny taking pleasure in others pain.good luck venus in your next tournaments.and chao french would have been nice to see vee finally holding it but it just wasnt meant to be.

lol. only after she loses do people come out and say "it was never gonna happen". before yall were whining about courts and wondering why such a champion deserves anything less than center court. obviously a player who does not play well at the French does not deserve to be put on center court all the time.

I love Venus and it was pretty sad for her to lose 6-0 in any set against ANYBODY!!! I'm sure that during her interview she will be classy as usual and not give any excuses. Like it was the scheduling or it was cold etc. She didn't play her game today. Too many UFE and not enough winners. She still has doubles left and after that she will prepare for her favorite tournament. We will all get over this because she is not going to dwell on it (or at least she will say she will not dwell on it).
