OZTENNIS May 28th, 2009, 04:15 PM Olivia was so close! She served for the match at 5-4 in the decider and then totally lost the plot  Great effort, though, from the 17 y.o wildcard  Kat :) Enough with the Bondarenko's beating up on Olivia already :fiery:  AndreConrad May 28th, 2009, 04:17 PM It looks like Olivia put a great effort. I have not seen her play yet, but I will make an effort to do so as soon as i can. Kateryna congrats :yeah: Huntress55 May 28th, 2009, 04:17 PM Olivia  She did so well, just couldnt close it out. In years to come she'll be winning those :) Dani12 May 28th, 2009, 04:17 PM I'm really proud of Olivia, I can imagine that she ran out of gas after breaking that last time as she isn't used to playing consuming matches against quality player like Kateryna. Although I'm dissapointed she didn't serve it out, it is more then I expected and it is the start of a fantastic career for Olivia :yeah: Harvs May 28th, 2009, 04:17 PM served for the match and then lost 9 points in a row!!! grrr...:o but what an amazing result for liv:) proved she can mix it with the older girls. great tourny from her...:) Langers May 28th, 2009, 04:18 PM Shattering, absolutely shattering. Benshka May 28th, 2009, 04:18 PM Oh my. PHEW! But nice to see a young Aussie do well :inlove:. OZTENNIS May 28th, 2009, 04:21 PM LOL There are only positives which can be drawn from this match and this tournament. It is by no means ''shattering'' She just took another quality player to the brink! Everything from this week has been a huge positive for Olivia and the future of Australian tennis... 2moretogo May 28th, 2009, 04:21 PM Katya! Becool May 28th, 2009, 04:49 PM go katya OZTENNIS May 28th, 2009, 04:53 PM Hurry up and merge the threads mods. aussie_fan May 28th, 2009, 05:48 PM LOL There are only positives which can be drawn from this match and this tournament. It is by no means ''shattering'' She just took another quality player to the brink! Everything from this week has been a huge positive for Olivia and the future of Australian tennis... of course it's shattering, she served for the bloody match. Heartbreaking to have such a close loss like this. Of course, only positives can be taken out this week but at the moment of course it will be shattering for her, i don't know how can anybody think differently at the moment, doesn't matter who you you are, you are playing and where you are, it's still just as heartbreaking. This will be looked back at though as a great week and a stepping stone for bigger things but just after a match your not going to think like the always positive thoughts that you seem to post Andiyan May 28th, 2009, 06:20 PM Katya :o Phew! rucolo May 28th, 2009, 10:07 PM Well done, Kateryna! Great fight back from 4-5 in 3rd set!:D Kateryna into 3rd round, best French Open ever for her!:yeah: frenchie May 28th, 2009, 10:17 PM Too bad her GS form can't translate to other events! Katya is better than 50 or 60 hdfb May 29th, 2009, 02:36 AM I'm happy to see Olivia doing well. This may be a loss but the tournament has been a triumph for her! jdog3008 May 29th, 2009, 02:43 AM The junior Bond girl goes at least 2 rounds further than her sister. :bounce: skanky~skanketta May 29th, 2009, 04:01 AM So happy for Katya! She has a good serve and a good backhand, so it's really surprising that she's not winning as much as she should! But this year, injuries aside, has been quite good for her! Reached her first 3rd round of a slam at the Australian Open and now doing the same at the French! Let's make the 4th round girl! Gutted for Olivia though! young_gunner913 May 29th, 2009, 04:07 AM Kata :hearts::worship: Josh. May 29th, 2009, 05:58 AM Retire Olivia. Kidding. Hard luck. She's showing promise that Australian tennis desperately needs. Привет May 29th, 2009, 06:02 AM Would've been nice to see Rogowska serve this one out, but it's also nice to see the younger Bondarenko doing well. :) I hope she wins her next match, too! mandy7 May 29th, 2009, 06:09 AM forgot to post here yesterday, but NICE win Hotarenko! :D i bet kata looked hot too :D southern star May 29th, 2009, 06:45 AM For someone ranked in the 200s to even make it to Round 2 of a slam is amazing, so I dare say Rogowska will be leaving pleased. | |
