MJMS did nothing right in the first set, lots of errors, drop shots didnt even reach the net, her volleys were left in the locker room.

After saving a few breakpoints in the opening games of the 2nd set, she gained confidence and took advantage of a sloppy service game from Peng. The deciding set was pretty good quality. MJMS was torturing Peng with her drop shots. Peng hit a few nice drop shots herself.

Anticipated matches don't always happen and it is still one round away but if MJMS faces Serena in the 3rd round this could be one very exciting match and I would give MJMS a very decent shot at winning it.

Well, Peng was a seeded player but Sanchez-Martinez was the heavy favorite for that match! I'm suprised it went the distance.
