 I am bad with stats but God know how many matches Foretz lost @ RG. She is getting a WC like EVERY year.

Anne @ FO :sobbing: Bogdanovic sucks at Wimb despite being British #2 comfortably for ages. Its just a mental thing.

She actually made either the 3R or 4R one year, losing to Capriati 4 and 4 if my memory serves me correctly.

I think Julie Pullin had a Wimbledon record of like 0-10 in the 90s.

Baltacha's record at Wimbledon is 4-7, not that horrible, she reached R3 in 2002.
Zakopalova is 0-6 at USO.
Schruff is combined 0-8 at RG and Wimbledon.

She should be happy she's made the 4th round. I wouldn't expect much more from her to be honest.

Lucie Ahl's was equally as bad I think

Good one! :yeah:

Just checked it, it's 0-9. :o
And she's only played in the MD at another Slam once, the AO in 2000. Ironically she won a match there! She qualified and beat Jane Chi in R1.

Probably :) I'm sure Julie is not alone. There would be a fair few Brits and Aussies with similar stories.

Helen Kelesi @ Wimbledon (surface was too fast for her weight)

3-9

Despite being seeded most of the time, she lost 7 of her 9 1st round matches and was once killed 0-6, 0-6 in about 36 minutes by Steffi Graf on the graveyard of the champions.

Lucie won a match at Wimbledon once. :p

Castano is 0-6 at Wimbledon, including a 6-0 6-1 drubbing by Navratilova.

Jelena Kostanic is 0-7 at Wimbledon.

Lisa Raymond has 8 R1 losses at RG, but she's also reached R4 once.

Take out Stevenson's fluke run at Wimbledon and she is 4-20 at grand slam tournaments.

Julie had match points at Wimbledon one year, but couldn't seal the deal. She also had match point to reach the third round at Australia, but didn't close that one out either! She's now happily retired and the mother of a little boy.

Bally has a respectable record at Wimb and normally loses to decent players.

Yeah I know, mensforum, but off the record Andy Roddick has an unparalleled record on Roland Garros as for a former #1 with 4-7, he was once in 3R in 2001 :)
