40 succulent clay court points for Katie! OK, so she went AWOL in the middle of the match, but that has been happening in virtually all the matches today! :hatoff:

LMAO! Katie. You've got to love her.

What's up with Katie, she must have one of the highest percentages of sets lost from 4-0, 5-0 and 5-1 sorts of positions. If she could just sort out her mental problems she would easily be a top 100 player.

Perhaps she should get in touch with that sport psychologist bloke who turned Anne's career around .

A win is a win :) Considering clay is not Katie's surface, I am sure she will gladly take what she can get ;)

Good job Katie. Would be nice to have two Britons in MD RG :D

Its actually a good win if u ignore the 2nd half of set 2  Katie has mentally been much stronger this year, but showed at Charleston she can still crumble at tour level. That said, she held her nerve to beat 2 seeds at AO to qualify, and this time will only need to beat one lower seed at most.

I still have faith that Katie will achiever her breakthrough year this year :D
