Was just reported on german eurosport:
http://de.eurosport.yahoo.com/18052009/30/lisicki-tennisturnier-warschau.html

They aren't sure yet if Roland Garros is in danger.

Get well soon, Sabine

EDIT: Her management said that it turned out not to be appendicitis. She went to a hospital on friday because she had a huge stomachache, but it isnt ap.

Bine :sobbing:

I guess she'll have to have her appendix removed and we all remember how long it took Amelie to recover from that. YEARS! :sobbing:

That's disappointing to hear. She could do some wins at the FO..

Usually after a appendicitis, you are 3 weeks without doing sports... But if they remove it in time and that her appendicite wasn't perforated, she will only stay one day at the hospital... but she is still supposed to wait 3 weeks before doing sports :P

How is it possible? Appendix removal is the easiest chirurgical act. 1-2 days at the hospital. Maybe Amelie had peritonitis .

But it envolves abdominal muscles and the pain lasts for quite a few days after the procedure..it's a crucial area for any sport...

In other german article there is written, that she maybe will play RG. They will wait the next day. But there is nothing written that she will not definitely play there :).

 Don't take everything so literally :p

The appendicitis was where everything started to go wrong for Amelie. I would suggest it did take her at least months to recover because she was 27 or 28 when she had it.

Anyway, I'm glad Sabine is ok :D :D
