he's not popular in holland
1: it's table tennis, we don't care, we only play that on vacation at campsights with table tennis tables :p
(we had a table at the office though, but only played on fridays, and now the office moved and we don't have room for the table anymore)
2: he's german. they're never popular here. some are tolerated though :p
(like anni friesinger, a german ice speed skater who speaks dutch and is engaged to a dutchie)

Lin Lin with the attitude! :p

But, the most popular table tennis player in Australia would be a chick called Miao Miao, just because of her name really(she got media attention for it)...not sure if she is even a good player

Does anybody else play table tennis kind of like they would play normal tennis. I have a 2 handed backhanded and take enormous swings :p. Much funner.

I never said there is a problem with that:shrug:

I hope more worldwide competitors can improve the table tennis matches:shrug:my interpretation was that u implied it ;) coz china are one of the powerhouse countries at the olympics. not saying that its a bad thing. a little competition never hurt anyone
