I have the same feeling, but maybe she will be strong enough to get all these events :D

Take into consideration that it would be strange for Aga not to play in the only WTA tournament which takes place in her homeland especially seeing such weak entry list there (=potentially easy points to grab). Maybe she should rather withdraw from Rome- I don't know personally, but I do believe that her team knows the best where she should play :)

yes but consider that rome belongs to premiere V events, she lost to ula in dubai and now has 1 point that belongs to her 16 best results, she needs as soon as possible get some points in premiere V, ofkors if she wont be in top10 after june, it doesn't matter anyway

Could you explain to me what are the rules regarding the Premier 5 tournaments? I still don't get all of them ;) I thought that Top10 players have to just play in 4 out of 5 these events or sth like this + play at least once every two years in every of them, but I also thought that they don't need to achieve any particular results in them like in the mandatory tournaments

^^ yes, she has to play 4 of 5 and 2 best results are counted for her ranking.
So at the moment points from Dubai and Rome (1 and 0 if she skips it) will be counted.

No, if she wouldn't play Rome then the points from it would not count towards her ranking. However, if she played it and got a first round exit again, she'd get two 1-pointers in her ranking until next Premier 5 tournament.

how can you say she should skip warsaw? it's the only tennis tourney we have in Poland. in addition they gave her the opportunity to make a leap frog in the rankings three years ago with a WC so she OWES them and needs to help tennis get some popularity in Poland. her skipping Warsaw is ridiculous.

Yeah, a 100k$ bonus for playing 4 of Premier 5 tournaments, 100k$ bonus for playing 4 Premier Mandatory tournaments and a 25k$ bonus for playing 5 Premier 5 and 4 Premier Mandatory tournaments.

The amounts of money listed above are valid for players from 7-10 spots. Whole table is present on Page 13 of Tour Rules.

Good schedule although I'd rather see her playing a MM tournament between Wimbledon and Stanford instead of Linz to avoid playing 5 weeks in a row.

And i don't think Agnieszka can play in Acapulco as Venus is committed to this event. I guess it'd be good if she plays in Monterrey like last year as it's on hardcourts, so it'd be a better preparation for IW and Miami than Acapulco (clay).

so I guess Aga might play in Monterrey

She is not on the EL :/ Although I've read somewhere that she said that she won't commit to the MM tournaments earlier because she can always get a Top10 WC.

They're definitely enjoying their free time now in Kraków. I went to the movies this evening, to Cinema City, I was reading the book and waiting for my screening, and I suddenly found myself staring at Aga :) I was thinking 'wow, this girl really looks like aga'... and then Ula came and there was no doubt. :) They entered the movies and I was even wondering whether to change my screening but I went to see "Whatever works" and they chose "Killers" so I sticked to my plan. ;) The movie sucked.

Caipirinha Guy

Agata.
Oct 17th, 2010, 11:23 AM
^^done  certainly now it would be strange if she doesn't get in the Q list

BTW, a player get a SE for 100k tournament only when she is in the SF of the previous 100k tournament?

Update:

October 25th: Added Poitiers (FRA) for Ula ($100k ITF tournament, surface - indoor hard)

Caipirinha Guy
Oct 17th, 2010, 12:13 PM
Special Exempts Rules:

a) SE to 50k, 75k and 100k if player gets to SF of 50k, 75k, 100k in the previous week
b) SE to 25k if player gets to SF of 25k, 50k, 75k, 100k
c) SE to 10k if player gets to SF of 10k, 25k, 50k, 75k, 100k

So a player can get a special exempt to Poitiers if she reaches a SF in 50k, 75k or 100k in the previous week so this week there's only one such challenger - in Saint Raphael. :) Even Ula could get SE if she makes the semis in Saint-Raphael. ;)

IMO Ula should play in:
1) $75,000+H Toyota Carpet Japan 22 Nov - 28 Nov 2010
2) $75,000 Dubai Hard United Arab Emirates 13 Dec - 19 Dec 2010
3) [and if she won't be in final or win in Japan] => $25,000 Rio De Janeiro Clay Brazil 29 Nov - 05 Dec 2010 OR $25,000 Bangalore Hard India 06 Dec - 12 Dec 2010

If Ula will play good in Japan and Dubai she can get a top100 before 2011 ;)

instead of playing Linz  Seems she will play all French ITFs then because she has no chance to play MD of Luxembourg or Moscow ;)

10 Oct / 16 Oct 11 $50,000 JOUE-LES-TOURS, FRA France $50000
17 Oct / 23 Oct 11 $50,000 LIMOGES, FRA France $50000
