Who cares?

Vika's lost to the likes of Chin Wei Chan and Anna Fitzpatrick in the past 2 years. I think this win is a bit of a step up, don't you?

Exactly, wins at tour level are a godsend for players like Kutuzova at the moment.

BTW, what names does your username now comprise of?

Regarding FedCup:
Why did they pick Koryttseva and especially Savchuk:o:help::tape: for FedCup and not Kutuzova!?
Well, Koryttseva is ok, but Savchuk?!:spit::haha:
Are they crazy? I have nothing against Savchuk, but did they see her form?:help:
Perhaps they wanted a "Bye" in the team, something new.:lol:

Oh Alona. :o Everytime I think you are gaining some momentum...a loss like this comes along! :help:

But I'm very happy to see Vika get a result like this, she's way too talented to be floating around in the 100-200 for the past few years. Keep it up girl! :yeah:

I saw most of the first set and the last five or six games of the second set.

Kutuzova came out on fire, hitting huge forehands everywhere. She tightened up a bit at crucial moments but some errors from Bondarenko really helped her out. She has such clean groundstrokes, it doesn't really matter when she gets tight because her ball always lands relatively deep. Tough for Bondarenko to do much today as even when she got Kutuzova on the move, a blazing winner would get sent past her. She was very upset after the loss.

Thanks for the report!
It's nice to hear that the win was not simply due to Alona playing poorly.
