View Full Version : Which current, active player would make a great future coach?

I think maybe someone like Mauresmo or Kuznetsova would be a good coach. I also think Clijsters would pass down a lot of good information.

They say that not so good players are always better coaches. Like Krajan..:D

deffinately not sveta, her brain just dosen't get tennis of how to construct points, play to her strengths.

lena d's coaching manual would read 'crosscourt at all times'

probably aga, she has the type of game that has very few weaknesses, so when teaching she would be pretty good at covering all the basics.

Usually the journey women make better coaches than the top players.

But from top players I would say Ai would make a good coach.

The one thing is I don't think she would be patient enough to be a coach. :sad:

However yes, she's probably the ideal player to teach good conventional technique, especially on the volley.
