Don't be surprised to see Sandrine on the courts again next summer.

Sep 7th, 2002, 08:00 AM
I hope so :D

Sep 14th, 2002, 03:14 PM
why would she be doing that?

Sep 16th, 2002, 05:31 PM
So she can spank Jennifer a few more times, of course! :D

Sep 17th, 2002, 10:57 AM
Then I'll just have to pay Sandrine to stay off the courts? ;)

shouldn't be too hard, just have to get a job first...

Sep 17th, 2002, 12:13 PM
Okay sure. Make sure you give the money to me and I'll, uh, make sure Sandrine gets it!

Sep 17th, 2002, 03:21 PM
Can I just promise I'll get it to her, like a credit system *cough* maybe Matthew P will lend me some....

Sep 18th, 2002, 01:20 AM
Erm... no! :p

Sep 20th, 2002, 03:51 PM
Money money money
I think Sandrine has already some;)
But you can offer some toys to the baby
Ed,we have to pray Sandrine not to forget her fans:D

Sep 20th, 2002, 09:28 PM
M.P might give the baby the porche he wrapped around the lampost, or maybe'll he'll just nick Jen's.

So, when's the baby due?

Sep 21st, 2002, 06:30 AM
Yes when is she poppin' it out?

Sep 21st, 2002, 11:08 PM
wow, you say that with such feeling and sensitivity.....

Sep 22nd, 2002, 01:31 AM

Sep 22nd, 2002, 11:45 AM
I feel it's our duty to keep the post numbers ticking in this forum ;)

So I'll just add another one.....

Sep 22nd, 2002, 08:50 PM
yes our Goddess will be angry if she sees her forum deserted :o

Sep 22nd, 2002, 08:59 PM
I hope she likes grey .... it's a bit dull in here

:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

that'll cheer it up a bit

Sep 23rd, 2002, 03:19 AM
mine is blue/black :D :p

Sep 23rd, 2002, 03:15 PM
How come you get that then?

Do you get the colours in other forums... go into the Hantuchova one - ouch

Sep 23rd, 2002, 06:02 PM
When there are forum defaults I get those colors... this one doesn't have a default though, so it's my normal board view...

Sep 23rd, 2002, 10:22 PM
... which is darker than most. oh the dark option? got it.

Sep 24th, 2002, 11:42 AM
oui :D

ugh school. what a terrible invention.

Sep 24th, 2002, 04:45 PM
well it's over for another day. I just have homework to contend with .... *insert sleeping smilie here*

Sep 25th, 2002, 02:02 AM
Mine's over too :D I took a long nap after classes. I only have them on Tuesday and Thursday, so I get a break tomorrow :p

Sep 25th, 2002, 04:53 PM
*shocked* why only then? I have NO idea how old you are but I'm guessing you're out of school??

Sep 25th, 2002, 05:34 PM
That's the way I set up my schedule ;)

I'm 19... sophomore in college.

Sep 25th, 2002, 06:54 PM
thats shockingly brilliant :D - not long for me to go - thank god

so .... sandrine huh?! :p

Sep 25th, 2002, 09:51 PM
Shockingly brilliant, eh?

And what about our Goddess? :p

Oct 1st, 2002, 07:52 PM
who, me? :p

so this place is still grey ... how dissapointing.

Oct 1st, 2002, 08:58 PM
Sandrine won't be pleased that we didn't worship at her Temple for that period of time we missed

It's grey now for me too

No more dark style

Oct 2nd, 2002, 09:43 PM
aw, what a shame, grey's much easier to read stuff though. Go into the Cocktail Party, and see what I mean  ouch.

I do worship Sandrine ever since she ran past me .. and stood there while i couldn't my bag :o I don't need the temple to do that. ;)

Oct 3rd, 2002, 01:38 AM
Well that's good but we need offerings to appease her as well :hearts:

Oct 3rd, 2002, 10:22 AM
baby gifts? or something for her specifically?

Oct 3rd, 2002, 11:55 AM
Something for her specifically :hearts:

Like a virgin sacrifice! :p

Oct 3rd, 2002, 01:07 PM
well that counts Martina out ...

Would Sandrine like Dani? you know, personal slave and all that

Oct 3rd, 2002, 08:43 PM
Who doesn't love a personal slave? :D

Oct 3rd, 2002, 09:37 PM
I tend to call her mum, she prefers that apparently...

Oct 4th, 2002, 12:19 AM

I usually call my mom "woman," or the generic "Joe."

Oct 4th, 2002, 09:31 PM
woman? I bet she comes running well you yell that at her  :p

Oct 4th, 2002, 09:42 PM
It's all in good fun ;)

Oct 5th, 2002, 09:57 AM
yeah, I bet that's what she says when she's doing your laundry :p

Oct 5th, 2002, 07:17 PM
lmao :D

I usually do my own, or my dad does it :p my mom doesn't do much housework :p

Oct 6th, 2002, 12:44 PM
that's almost impressive :p and seeing as I don't do my own... *cough*

so you think if we keep writing random posts, they won't shut this place down...?

Oct 6th, 2002, 05:29 PM
They wouldn't dare... the wrath of the Goddess would be fatal

Oct 6th, 2002, 05:40 PM
ah, so it's her who's been crashing the site. *tut tut* bored without tennis is she? ;)

Oct 6th, 2002, 08:52 PM
wouldn't you be? :p

I'm glad I'll never have to carry another human around in my tummy.

Oct 7th, 2002, 04:47 PM
tummy sounds as if she's about to ingest the poor thing :p

i bet she's doing a tauziat and giggling at all the players below her in the rankings, even though she's retired.

Oct 7th, 2002, 09:06 PM
It is pretty funny :D

But Sandrine has fire in her eyes! She's going to return to kick ass once again! :D

Oct 7th, 2002, 09:06 PM
...if she has been here the week before Serena turned #1, she would have spanked her...

Oct 8th, 2002, 08:21 PM
well of course, that was her "thing", however annoying that was last year :fiery: ;)

do you honestly think she's come back?

Oct 9th, 2002, 01:59 AM
yes

Oct 9th, 2002, 03:01 PM
post baby? to play? does the angel mean you know more than you're saying?

Oct 9th, 2002, 06:59 PM
Well she's not going to play 9 months pregnant.

I'm not allowed to say.

Allez Sandrine! :D

Oct 9th, 2002, 08:10 PM
aw, that's so unfair :p (the not telling bit, not the not playing when 9 months pregnant bit).

heh. so we just have to sit and wait. and if she doesn't play again, i'll be sitting there forever.... for a change ;) maybe she could beat Alex for me ... repeatedly, with the ugly stick

Oct 9th, 2002, 09:35 PM
To someone already that minging, that would qualify as cruel and unusual punishment.

I'm sure she'll be happy to spank Alex after she downs Serena and Jenn again :D

Oct 10th, 2002, 04:37 PM
I dunno, I think Sandrine could find it theraputic. I know I would after yesterday....

We're all going to stalk her at Wimby, get our own back.

Oct 10th, 2002, 09:34 PM
Stalk Sandrine?

Oct 11th, 2002, 05:50 PM
no :) heh. Alex + mum.

It's our tournament brief (Snuffkin's orders)

Oct 11th, 2002, 07:36 PM
Oh! Okay. That is acceptable.

No time to chat much, I have so much homework lately.

Oct 12th, 2002, 11:30 AM
ok, have fun  *cough*

BTW, how the feck do you get 15824 posts?! huh!

Oct 12th, 2002, 04:36 PM
From the years I didn't have so much homework

I'm obsessive complusive :p

Oct 12th, 2002, 05:34 PM
well if you need help - with both homework *cough* or the mental aspects - just give me a buzz....

... or better still, don't :p

Oct 13th, 2002, 12:04 AM
Why don't we get involved in some physical aspects :hearts:

Oct 13th, 2002, 10:47 AM
lmao. I was under the distinct impression you were gay :o *cough* sorry :o

Oct 13th, 2002, 06:11 PM
I am partially ;)

So how about it? ;)

Oct 13th, 2002, 07:33 PM
partially? bi?

well, pop on a plane, and I'll think about it:p

Oct 13th, 2002, 07:46 PM
woohoo :hearts:

Oct 13th, 2002, 08:39 PM
oooh you'd like to snog Jennifer Connelly :D good choice.

going waaaaaay off topic. Were you GoSandrine? cos if not, we've overtaken his/her thread...

Oct 13th, 2002, 10:09 PM
she's HOTTTTT :hearts: :D

No but Ed loves me, he won't mind

Oct 14th, 2002, 02:51 PM
ah. so not only have we hijaked his thread, you nicked his formular for thinking up usernames ... nice :)

Oct 14th, 2002, 05:08 PM
pfffff I thought this up all on my own

Oct 14th, 2002, 05:59 PM
bet you were dead proud of yourself after that:p

Oct 14th, 2002, 06:16 PM
oh of course :D

but I have other things to be proud of ;) ;)

Oct 14th, 2002, 07:27 PM
thank you for sharing, my day is now complete :p

Oct 14th, 2002, 09:05 PM

Oct 15th, 2002, 06:41 PM
The baby is supposed to be born in January-February
But Sandrine already know that it's a girl!

Oct 15th, 2002, 08:41 PM

Oct 15th, 2002, 09:45 PM
Happy Birthday! :D

Why don't you just move into my house, vbn? :hearts:

Oct 15th, 2002, 09:48 PM
well, there are fundemental hygiene issues that need to addressed first.

Oct 16th, 2002, 01:32 AM
Such as? :p

Oct 16th, 2002, 02:37 PM
yours, not mine :p

Oct 16th, 2002, 11:52 PM
I'm the cleanest person I know :p

Oct 17th, 2002, 02:19 PM
ah, I knew someone on this board would be the loner living in a dark room seeing NO ONE.

Oct 17th, 2002, 03:16 PM
pffff

Oct 17th, 2002, 05:31 PM
heh :p cheer up, it might snow

Oct 18th, 2002, 04:15 AM
here? doubtful :p

Oct 18th, 2002, 05:43 PM
I thought it snowed in Canada (might cyber-snow in here, WTA here), or is that another generalisation like the one it rains all the time over here. Which is less of a generalisation and more fact.

Oct 18th, 2002, 09:18 PM
I don't live in Canada :p

Oct 18th, 2002, 11:01 PM
ok, so your flag is LYING

Oct 19th, 2002, 04:25 AM
Well your location says you live in the internet and I highly doubt that's factual :p

Oct 19th, 2002, 10:16 AM
And although I can empathise I'm quite sure I haven't seen Perpetual Boredom on a map either :p but my flag is correct-ish.

Oct 19th, 2002, 04:29 PM
So when are you coming over?

Oct 20th, 2002, 11:46 AM
I don't know where you are ;)

Oct 20th, 2002, 08:49 PM
Virginia :D

Oct 21st, 2002, 04:55 PM
I going to take a wild guess and say that's in the USA...

Oct 21st, 2002, 10:41 PM
It is at that :p

Oct 22nd, 2002, 04:23 PM

Well I'll just wait for the sniper to clear off.... That and finish school and somehow scrape together enough money for a flight...

Oct 25th, 2002, 01:43 AM
The sniper is gone, I'm waiting :D

Oct 25th, 2002, 04:54 PM
You were waiting to say that weren't you ;) Well I'm off on holiday until next saturday - so :wavey:

Oct 26th, 2002, 03:23 AM

Oct 31st, 2002, 09:30 PM

Hi Folks ;) :wavey:

Nov 1st, 2002, 01:11 AM
Hi sexy :wavey:

Nov 1st, 2002, 10:32 PM
sorry GoSandrine, oops.

I'm back :wavey:

Nov 3rd, 2002, 04:26 AM
hey female sexy

Nov 3rd, 2002, 11:35 AM
*ahem* you make me blush :o hey to you too

Nov 3rd, 2002, 09:45 PM
I make you blush eh :o

Nov 3rd, 2002, 10:01 PM
keep in mind that I blush when a teacher asks me a question - so it doesn't take too much effort :p

Nov 4th, 2002, 06:20 AM
ah, you're the shy type, eh? :hearts:

Nov 4th, 2002, 04:09 PM
is there anything I can do/say that'll calm you down? ;)

Nov 5th, 2002, 11:25 AM
sure, you can take off your clothes  ;)

I'm going in a bit to vote for the democrats :bounce:

Nov 5th, 2002, 09:02 PM
thank god, at least one American has sense - good luck!

even if I did take of my clothes (which I won't seeing as my parents are in thesame room) you wouldn't see ;)

Nov 6th, 2002, 06:36 AM
I hate this country :fiery:

Nov 6th, 2002, 02:01 PM
I don't want to know the result now....

Nov 7th, 2002, 01:52 AM
it's bad

Nov 7th, 2002, 05:52 PM
yeah, that result was horrific. people must be closet republican supporters seeing as everything I've read is anti-republican.

Nov 8th, 2002, 02:01 AM
I'm pissed right now at all the gay people who voted Republican. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot. Oh well, nothing I can do except wait for the 2004 Elections when we can hopefully take back all the branches.

*bounces you on his knees* :D

Nov 8th, 2002, 04:25 PM
just one last politics question (can't help it, study it at school) - are the Republicans anti-gay then?

Nov 10th, 2002, 07:10 AM
Most of them are, yes.

I study politics too :D  All of my fellow political science students are soooo conservative, and I'm like the one ultral radical liberal at my school and I talk more than they do and piss them off royally :D

go me :D

Nov 14th, 2002, 07:34 PM
Go you :D heh. At least there's one supporter, they can build on that I guess.

I'm back. Belgium was wet.

Nov 14th, 2002, 09:32 PM
You didn't tell me you were leaving

Nov 14th, 2002, 09:34 PM
I know, I just realised that. Sorry. you better ..

Nov 15th, 2002, 06:08 PM
no, but I know how you can cheer me up

Nov 16th, 2002, 11:48 AM
ah, so it's like that now is it?! :p

Nov 16th, 2002, 07:07 PM
isn't it always like that

Nov 16th, 2002, 10:13 PM
damn, can't see the smilies :( will have a guess a ;) so then ;), it is

Nov 17th, 2002, 01:01 AM
it was a confused :p (tongue)

I don't understand what's wrong with the things?

Nov 17th, 2002, 12:15 PM
I have no idea, but it's definately making posts more difficults to understand ;) :p :) :(  :bounce: see?!

Nov 17th, 2002, 07:21 PM
yes it is, I can't do without my smileys *sad*

Nov 18th, 2002, 06:58 PM
So what's with the new name?!

Nov 19th, 2002, 12:31 AM
I'm a King :D

Nov 19th, 2002, 01:20 AM
funny, I always thought you were a queen ;)

So seriously, has Sandrine already HAD the baby or does she just have the name and gender revealed?

Nov 19th, 2002, 02:04 AM
she hasn't had it yet.

Nov 19th, 2002, 02:35 PM
You're a king..... roight. I wont ask where cos I can read.

Nov 19th, 2002, 09:02 PM
Good job.

Why are you in Cambodia? :p

Nov 19th, 2002, 10:33 PM
The flag's pretty : o although that's pretty useless now *rolleyes*

Nov 20th, 2002, 02:12 AM
lol : o yeah it is : p

Nov 20th, 2002, 04:47 PM
aw, that's so incredibly lame : o

but the english one looks as if they put a kid infront of a blank paper with a wax crayon and said "there, design our flag" So I went for a random one.

Nov 20th, 2002, 05:02 PM
That's cool, I suppose.

I use Nauru because I plan to conquer that first on my quest for world domination.

Wanna help?

Nov 21st, 2002, 04:56 PM
Only if we can erradicate blondes too....

Nov 21st, 2002, 09:20 PM
well :o

ok. :p

Nov 22nd, 2002, 04:46 PM
You're not blonde are you, don't need the mastermind self-distructing.

But yeah, I'm in.

Nov 23rd, 2002, 05:30 AM
I'm more brown than blonde I think. Light brown.

yay let's take over the whore bitchin' world :D

Nov 23rd, 2002, 10:12 AM
Dirty blonde. Yeah, that's good :)

So how we going to do it?

Nov 23rd, 2002, 06:54 PM
hmm... I think I'll use my charm to build an army and then take it by force :D

Nov 24th, 2002, 12:05 PM
... *cough* ... could be here a while.

who's Melissa Torres?

Nov 24th, 2002, 06:38 PM
a tennis player from Mexico :p

She's in the Mexican National Championships final today :D vamos Melissa!

Nov 24th, 2002, 10:58 PM
Thanks for the pic :)

She win?

Nov 24th, 2002, 11:00 PM
I'm on the Mexican yahoo page right now and if I can't find out I'll have to wait for Alx :o

Nov 24th, 2002, 11:02 PM
There's no article on there, they only have the semifinals one

I hope she wins :D

Nov 24th, 2002, 11:08 PM
Alx just posted :D

Melissa Torres def. Karin Palme 7-5 7-6(2) :D

:bounce: Melissa :bounce:

Nov 25th, 2002, 04:32 PM
:D I'll have to go check her out on the sanex site.

So you originally from mexico - or is it just like me supporting Capriati and not Timmy.

Nov 25th, 2002, 08:33 PM
I'm not from Mexico :D I'm born and raised Virginian... my ancestors are from Germany.

Nov 26th, 2002, 09:06 PM
wow, probably couldn't have been more wrong if I'd tried :o

Nov 27th, 2002, 04:32 AM
probably not :D

Nov 27th, 2002, 04:56 PM
Are you mocking me?!

Nov 27th, 2002, 07:12 PM
I'm not mocking you :p

Haven't you seen my pic though? :p You should know I'm not Mexican if you have hehe

Nov 27th, 2002, 07:47 PM
Shit. You're Scotso aren't you?! Damn, that hadn't occured to me, even after the name change. duuuuuuuuuuh.....

Nov 27th, 2002, 11:31 PM
*head hits desk*

Nov 29th, 2002, 10:12 AM
It's not my fault - you keep changing your name!

Nov 29th, 2002, 04:25 PM
But my fine quality posting remains the same! :p

Nov 30th, 2002, 10:01 AM
... but not to the point that I recognise you :p

Nov 30th, 2002, 07:07 PM
Well the "Scotso" should have given it away :p

Nov 30th, 2002, 09:48 PM
I fail to see where "Scotso" is in "GoLeyt"

Dec 1st, 2002, 03:54 AM
well I mean NOW :p you should have known "King Scotso" is Scotso :p

I just got kinged

Dec 1st, 2002, 12:42 PM
Lord of the Rings fan?

Dec 2nd, 2002, 01:27 AM

Paul-Henri lost and he cried

Dec 2nd, 2002, 04:41 PM

... well he should be pretty upset, he had the game in the bag

Dec 2nd, 2002, 06:36 PM
be nice to my paulo

and Aragon is also a region of Spain

Dec 2nd, 2002, 06:53 PM

That's a less fun explanation.

Dec 3rd, 2002, 11:57 AM
Well it makes more sense than naming myself after a fantasy character

Dec 3rd, 2002, 04:38 PM
You don't sound so sure about it though

Dec 3rd, 2002, 09:16 PM
Well it does to me so nyah :p

Dec 4th, 2002, 05:17 PM
:p Oooooooooh! Suits you!

When do you get vacation from uni?

Dec 4th, 2002, 05:22 PM
Ugh... in like two weeks. Exams and so much work soon. I don't feel like doing anything. I hate school, bleh!

But in January I'm going to Texas and Mexico :D woohoo heat! :D

Dec 4th, 2002, 07:40 PM
Soooooooo unfair - while I'll be freezing my arse off.

That was just an excuse to use that smilie really

Dec 6th, 2002, 05:41 AM
We got 8 inches of snow and my classes were cancelled! :D

Dec 6th, 2002, 04:43 PM
Wha-? Wa hey!! I hope you had a snowball fight.

Dec 7th, 2002, 02:39 AM
I didn't get a chance to

Dec 7th, 2002, 11:08 AM

random smilie to make you feel better

Dec 7th, 2002, 11:20 AM
lmao... I don't know what the hell that thing is but it's cute ;)

Dec 7th, 2002, 05:05 PM
It looked vaguely snow-ish :)

Dec 7th, 2002, 06:38 PM
Awww, it's warm today and the snow is melting :(

Dec 7th, 2002, 08:29 PM
ugh, slush is the worst.

always followed by ice fights which always nearly takes someones ear off.

Dec 7th, 2002, 11:39 PM
my nose was cut off once.

Dec 8th, 2002, 12:34 PM
 Seriously?! ... how?

Dec 8th, 2002, 06:33 PM
A friend did it on accident when I was about 7 or 8. We were play fighting and he "missed." My nose got the blunt of it, but they sewed it back on and it looks pretty good. You can see a small scar but it's not bad. I'm lucky it wasn't my eye.

Ugh, I'm so stressed with school finals and the papers and stuff. :( I got cold sores pf.

Dec 8th, 2002, 08:37 PM
I hope you beat the crap out of you friend - that's sounds awful. yuk

Have a long bath .... or failing that do some primal screaming :)

Dec 9th, 2002, 03:47 AM
LOL... I scream all the time. That's really helpful.

Dec 9th, 2002, 03:47 AM
I'm going to call you Vash from now on :D

Dec 9th, 2002, 03:25 PM
It's OK as long as you don't scream like a girl.

Vash? uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh, why?

Dec 9th, 2002, 05:40 PM
Well you never told me your real name and I was going to call you "Very" but then it just reminded me of Vash. I love that name :D

Dec 9th, 2002, 07:46 PM
You know that's verging on french for cow :(:);)

Dec 9th, 2002, 11:02 PM

I know cow in spanish is Vaca.

In my spanish class my team was known as the Medianoche Vacas... "Midnight Cows" lmao ;)

Dec 10th, 2002, 11:24 AM
 heh heh - for any particular reason?

Vache is the french - I think.

My team was always called the wooden spooners, cos we always lost :o

Dec 10th, 2002, 11:43 AM
awww... poor thing  And no, no particular reason.

Ugh, I have school today! I hate school. I have a busy life, I can't be bothered! :fiery:

Dec 10th, 2002, 03:09 PM
I had no school today (doesn't that make you feel better :p) cos of no lessons.

Romilly btw.

Dec 10th, 2002, 08:53 PM
Ensign Ro! :D

Lucky lucky :p But class is over now and I don't have any again until Thursday so my reaction is tame.

I got a 100 on my english test :D

Dec 10th, 2002, 09:42 PM
100?! out of what?!

Well I have to do cooking tomorrow, it's the school attempt to get us ready for the realy world. Like we're going to make lemon mirange (im not even going to attempt to spell that right) pie in the real word

Dec 10th, 2002, 11:10 PM
100 out of 100 silly :p

mmmm, I wish I knew how to make that, it sounds nummy :D

Dec 11th, 2002, 04:41 PM
It didn't look yummy, that is for sure. Had a flour fight :) A LOT of fun!

1000%?! And you're worrying about these exams!! pffffffffffff :p

Dec 11th, 2002, 06:13 PM
of course I'm worried :p that's what I do.

I hate school, argh! I have so much homework to do today.

Dec 11th, 2002, 06:54 PM
so you're one of those 'I'll do fine as long as I work but I'm still going to crap myself about it' people too?

I hate that ;) but I'm like it too - and just in case you're wondering, I hate school also

Dec 11th, 2002, 11:51 PM
ahhhhh we're birds of a feather

I'm not extremely worried about it, I'm just at the point where I don't care... I just want to sleeeeeeep!

Dec 12th, 2002, 04:41 PM
Did you get some sleep?

I'm out til 4am tonight - I think I'll be unconscious for most of tomorrow .. for a change ;)

Dec 12th, 2002, 08:50 PM
I got some. My Civil War final was SO hard. He made us take a 3 hour exam in one hour. It wasn't fair at all and people openly criticized him during the class for it. He deserved it, he's such an ass. Very little of what was on that exam had he gone over. Oh well.

I have to study for my other exams this weekend, they shouldn't be nearly as hard as that one and I think that I'll do okay.

I still have to do a huge poster-project for that asshole. Ugh, I don't feel like wasting enough effort to spit on him yet alone do a project for him.

Anyway I'm going to nap now :p :wavey:

Dec 13th, 2002, 09:43 AM
Well, I've always wanted to know, so I might as well ask you now you've revised, who was the civil war fought between, and what dod they want?

My head hurts, soooo bad :( I'm allowed the morning off school though :)

Will you get some sort of allowance for the fact the teacher buggered up the exam timings?

Dec 13th, 2002, 05:23 PM
No, no allowance.

Sorry about your head :(

The Civil War is the American Civil War... fought between the Northern and Southern parts. It's a really complicated issue but that's the gist of it :D lol

Dec 13th, 2002, 06:10 PM
Head's self inflicted ;) It's fine though now, thanks :)

So (like anythings that simple :p), what were the north and south fighting over?

Dec 14th, 2002, 03:28 AM
States' rights. The South felt that the North was growing too powerful and would take away the rights that they cherished, so the South voted to form their own country, the Confederacy. I'm a little biased because I'm from the South, but I feel that they were justified. The North, however, invaded to stop the South from seceeding. In the next 4 years over 3 million Americans would die in the conflict. Needless to say, the North won. But many Southerners still have an animosity towards the North.

Dec 14th, 2002, 10:14 AM
STILL have animosity?! I suppose threatening to start your own country is slightly more extreme than arguing over the Royal family, which is what we did :)

Thank you, I sat through the whole of Ride with the Devil, and they didn't explain that once. or I slept through that bit :o

Dec 14th, 2002, 04:01 PM
Ride with the Devil?

You're welcome :p

I'm going to see Star Trek: Nemesis in a bit :bounce:

Dec 14th, 2002, 06:30 PM
wait a minute, let me check that's the right title. Yeah, with Tobey Maguire and Jeffrey Wright, an Ang Lee film.

...Star Trek?! Should you be openly admitting to that :p

Have fun :D

Dec 14th, 2002, 10:56 PM
It was great :bounce:

the bad guy is so sexy :D

Dec 15th, 2002, 01:33 PM
Isn't that the one who looks like the bauld bloke? The clone?

.. That was clear

Dec 15th, 2002, 05:21 PM
yeah the clone

Ugh I have too much to do today. I have to do some first grade poster for my civil war class, and study for exams... and argh!

Dec 15th, 2002, 07:29 PM
Posters are fun, aren't they? lots of colouring in, stick men randomly shooting at each other - sounds like a blast

If you jsut sit down and do it, you'll definately feel better :) says she who puts everything off till the last minute :p

Dec 15th, 2002, 08:27 PM
I put things off too but I'm running out of time to put it off lol

yeah lots of stick people and traced pictures :D

Dec 15th, 2002, 10:17 PM
nooooooooooooooooo don't trace!! heh.

You know one time I got a C for a piece of work, because my circles weren't circular enough? Completely true. So just warning you, use a template or something ;)

Dec 16th, 2002, 12:24 AM
i did my poster... what a fecking waste of time!

it's ugly as crap and I don't care, I have bigger fish to fry :p

Dec 16th, 2002, 04:54 PM
have a scanner ;) it'd be cool to see. So aren't you a bit old to be making posters... even we're not allowed time off to make paper snowflakes for our window

Our headmaster is SUCH a Scrooge :(

Dec 16th, 2002, 05:30 PM
lol... so are you in college or what? :p

and yes I'm too old for it... it's so first grade... and I'll take a picture of my poster later if you insist on seeing my ugly pictures :p

Dec 16th, 2002, 05:31 PM
I'm so bored, I hate having large breaks between exams. One down, 4 to go.

At least the next three days I only have one each.

Dec 16th, 2002, 05:58 PM
you just had one? or was that the civil war one?

Dec 16th, 2002, 08:54 PM
Civil War was last Thursday. I had my literature and math exams today.

Wednesday I have modern ideologies and Thursday I have literature of the old testament. Tomorrow is my Civil War presentation thing. Meh. I want to be done with this semester and sleep :D

I want to keep my 4.0! :fiery:

Dec 16th, 2002, 09:36 PM
wait wait wait wait, I'm confused.

What exactly, the subject, are you doing at college?

And what's a 4.0?

Dec 17th, 2002, 02:32 AM
We have cognates that we have to take... it's a program designed to make us "well-rounded" My major is Political Science.

4.0 means I've had all A's so far :p

Dec 17th, 2002, 04:44 PM
I got an A on my Civil War final! That means I'll get an A in the class :D

Dec 18th, 2002, 04:47 PM
well done :) !!!!

You know I think that's why Brits are more screwed up, we drop classes from 15 years old, I'm currently doing subjects over all. I have no hope of being well-rounded.

When are the rest of your exams? and when do you ge to go home?

Dec 18th, 2002, 05:06 PM
I live at home :p I'm a commuter.

I had another exam today, just finished. It was my hardest one, now sure how I did but I'm hoping for the best :o

My last exam is tomorrow at 8am :o Ugh, have to get up that early for one lousy exam. This one should be the easiest of them all, I hope anyway. I'll review my notes a little and that's it. I can't wait to get this semester over with! I'm going to sleep for like 20 days and then I'm going to Texas to see my boyfriend :bounce:

Dec 19th, 2002, 11:48 AM
My last exam is in one hour... I can't wait to be rid of it! :D

But, I'm going to be so bored :o

Dec 19th, 2002, 02:15 PM
No more exams! :D

Dec 19th, 2002, 09:14 PM
Having problems posting.... :( Been trying for days

Well done for completing your exams without suffering from a nervous breakdown :)

Dec 20th, 2002, 12:19 AM

Dec 22nd, 2002, 06:21 PM

Dec 22nd, 2002, 10:15 PM
oh being lazy? :D

I'm going to see the Two Towers tonight :bounce:

Dec 22nd, 2002, 10:33 PM
already seen it ;)

Gollum is amazing

Dec 23rd, 2002, 04:45 AM
Gollum was good, yes. But the movie was pretty boring.

I like the Elf army...

and Legolas

Dec 23rd, 2002, 12:15 PM
All the elves were a bit too camp for me :p I prefer Legolas without the long blonde hair.

The movie was generally a snore fest, with violence.

Aragon

Jan 5th, 2003, 04:25 AM
I'm back sweetie! ;)

Jan 7th, 2003, 05:03 PM

Does anyone know what Sandrine is up to now? I know she is most likely busy with her baby...but is she working for TV as sports journalist or? Is she totally retired or she has plan to return to play as professional again? She is truly a wonderful player to watch! Thanks! :wavey: :D :wavey:

Feb 8th, 2003, 01:41 PM
As Scotso said in the other thread, it's highly unlikely that she'll play tennis again.

Sep 28th, 2003, 04:33 PM
I'm so glad I was wrong! The fire is burning brighter than ever :D
