what are some movies that would be someone's top 5 that they are embarrassed of/shouldn't be.

example transformers and pirates of the caribbean.

There are no bad movies in my top 5, or even in my top 50. But there are a few stupid movies I do like, chief among them First Wives' Club. I also can't help myself--I like Legally Blonde. And like just about everyone, I like My Cousin Vinnie.

I also don't think Pirates... is a bad movie--the first one. I think it's quite witty. It was all downhill after that, though.

You can't beat the classics of bad: Plan 9 from Outer Space and Robot Monster. So bad they border on genius.

Roger Ebert lists "Inframan" as one of his guilty pleasures and I must concur. It is one of the best pointless rubber-suited, pre-Power Ranger kung fu movies ever made. (How can you not love a film where the baddie is named "Princess Dragon-Mom?)

Finally, surely, you say, surely, Max, it can't be possible that Marjoe Gortner AND David Hassefhoff once made a movie with Christopher Plummer!?!

I say Yes! Yes it is true! Star Crash, a rip off of Star Wars shot in Italy for $12.37, stars all three of the above, plus Bond girl Carolyn Munroe! Thrill to brilliant dialog like:

"So you can see into the future?

"Yes."

"All these years and you never told me."

"Ah. But then you would have been tempted to change the future. And that's against the law."

Honest to God, you can't make this shit up.

Wow. I saw this in the theaters because my BFF likes Lindsay and I was just floored by the stupidity of the movie and some of the lines. I could not believe Lohan, a respectable actor (at that time), would do something so bad.

I thought Twilight was one of the worst movies ever made with one of the most creepy unhealthy relationships Ive ever seen which consisted of a girl who wasnt very pretty but somehow had all the guys wanting her and a guy with the most hideous hair in the world who looked more pale than Rose Mcgowan. Despite these things so many people seem to like the disaster that is this movie.

As far as a movie I love (as do a lot of other people) that got bad reviews, Id say Mommie Dearest.

not all critics were raving about Tropic Thunder. i think it earned a lot mainly because of the actors attached to it and as much as i love RDJ, i didn't think he deserved all of his nominations for this film :(

Norbit, Bring It On, The Spice Girls Movie.

Mr Wong was hilarious.

Mr. Wong: Remember, black people run very fast. But problem run faster.

Mr. Wong: Yes, Wong very racist. Don't like black. Don't like Jew either. But black and Jew love Chinese food. Go figure.
