Welcome to Charleston, South Carolina! We are still in the USA but we are hitting the green clay, before the European red clay season kicks of next week. Another Premier event this week, so big points up for grabs. Bartoli will be a strong contender for a third consecutive title, following victories at Indian Wells and Miami. However, with such depth on the tour right now, there could be some major upsets and surprises here in Charleston!

First ever title defense. And 5th week at No.1. One week behind Dickmayer. :)
After less than a full season on the OWTT circuit, Tamira Paszek is calling it quits. In a shock announcement on Tuesday evening the talented 18 year old stated she wanted to pursue new things. This comes as a shock as the youngster has had promising results, scoring wins over former world No.1 Yanina Wickmayer and a score of other top 10 players and winning a tier II event in Beijing. She will still commit to doubles, but for now is leaving the singles circuit behind.

Paszek Cries out for Attention
http://cache.daylife.com/imageserve/0dMOh0ZdXmbXn/340x.jpg
After being ignores for less than a full season on the OWTT circuit, Tamira Paszek does everything she can to get some attention. In a cliché announcement on Tuesday evening the useless 18 year old stated she wanted everything to revolve around her. This comes as a no shock as the youngster is an attention seeking whore, jealous of, tour IT Girl, former Australian Open Champion Alizé Cornet, and will hope to imitate her success but shadowing her actions. She will still commit to doubles as she realises everyone will forget about her in minutes otherwise, but for this week is leaving the singles circuit behind.

Wickmayer isn't even contending anymore. But she will be finetuned during the French Open, and then I'll use my special scores to bagel you ;)

it's a shame schlongmayer can only play well at a few tournaments a year and then get owned during the rest of the season.

it's sad when we cling to our past glory rather than looking ahead to the present or the future. if sausagemayer can't handle the smacktalk - she shouldn't have started it in the first place.

Wickmayer will strike again, you can be clear of it. Right now she likes to hang out with Azarenka, so they love to slack together, plus both are doing some modelling for Linger-ay
Something Fatoda can't fit into, unless she goes for American sizes :crying2:
