I've been playing USTA tournaments since I was 12, and I think it's time I made this thread of all the tournaments I play. ;) I'll try and keep this thread as updated as possible so I can feel the support of my fellow TF members (or at least the ones that happen to wander into this hidden gem of the forum).

Consider me your fan.
Just out of curiosity, how often/regularly do you train/play? Is it difficult to combine your tennis with school? I hope I am not too intrusive, but as a fan I would like to know. :p

These questions are far too personal - I'm afraid I won't be able to answer them.

I'm not worthy of fans. I just thought it would be fun to let you guys know how my tournament-hogging goes.

I hit with my coach about three times a week (in addition to hitting serves and off the ball machine and stuff) and do off-court stuff about twice a week. It's not as much as I should be doing but I'm working harder than before. Dealing with USTA tennis, school, and school tennis is becoming more and more difficult since I am taking very hard classes this semester. I am the only kid in my area who plays USTA tennis at this level so it's a bit tough for me on the high school team to get anything accomplished at practice but I have to go regardless.

We were supposed to have a match tomorrow against a rival school (with a pretty good #1 player too) but it seems it will rain. :(

The inside of my elbow bothers me a lot, but it is usually a bearable pain and it only hurts whenever I hit serves. During my first match, however, it seriously felt like my arm was about to fall off a few times during the match. There was no comfortable place to put my arm so that it wouldn't hurt, so as soon as I finished my match I withdrew from the tournament and drove home to see a doctor who informed me that I have tendonitis. He gave me this brace to wear when I play and it really helped me in that high school match against our rival school I was talking about earlier (I found out on Saturday and that match was Monday) but I am taking a couple of weeks off and resting my elbow because one of my friends who had the same injury told me he was out for six months because he played with the injury.

This is actually a constant theme in my junior career; every time I am playing well or start to play well and get on a roll, I get injured. It really sucks...

Petra too, if her elbow injury is what I suspect it is.

 You should put a video up of you playing tennis. :) I've alwyas liked to see how good I am compared with some of the american counterparts...

How old are you?
