I wouldn't be surprised if she beats Justine tomorrow. I just looked at the stats of her last 2 matches and her serve is incredible. 18 aces in 2 matches and averaging 106 miles first serve.

I saw her play this week and I was more impressed with her than Bradshaw #1 was :). I'm not sure she can upset Juju but we will see. I think her game would throw off the big hitters more that it would Juju. She keeps her slices low and deep. She has a nice inside out forehand and of course the big serve. She also comes to net. She lobs very well.

She comes from my hometown of Valley Stream, so we would be very proud if she could pull off the upset.

# 1000 something in the world?, when will people understand that who is on the other side of the net has something to do with how a player looks.

Ummm...her ranking is low because this is her FIRST professional tournament. She defeated Tamarine 6-4 6-2 with 8 aces and Tamarine is not a nobody. Tamy took Monica to 3 sets earlier this year.

Win or lose, this has already been a great tourney for her. Enuf points to get her in to circuit tourneys without WC's and more money than some of the girls have earned on the tour all year.

I think Juju will win, but I would love it if Bea made a match of it. It would be great for the fans.

She has the game, but the lack of experience may put her down!! Against a top 10 player is a different story... I think Justine will win but I hope it will be a close match!!! Good Luck, Bea!!!

She's ranked? I thought this was her 1st Pro event. You can't be ranked until you've played 3 events. I'm hoping for good tennis, but I suspect Justine will affect a reality check.

It will be a close match if she focuses on her solid service game, but Justine will win in straight tight sets :)

The first set will be crucial.... I think Henin's experience will get her through this one, even if it does prove to be a tight contest.

Henin 6-4 6-2

Well, everything is possible, I haven't seen her play yet but she
must have an incredible serve according to the stats.
I hope JUju wins. She has the experience, the game ...
Like Monica@53 says, the first set will be crucial.
Go JUJU!

I haven't seen BIELEK playing, from the last 2 round match result, I'm thinking that she can make HENIN in trouble a little bit....BUT I Don't think she can beat Henin

My prediction : Henin def Bielek 6-4 6-2

I think if Bea keep her serve up and Justine struggles then she might have a chance

I don't think that she's got a chance of winning against Justine!

I don't think that is going to happen unless Justine comes out sleeping.

Hitting aces is not enough to win a match (just ask Alexandra Stevenson). She may have a strong serve, but the rest of her game has no power. I don't see her beating Justine (unless Justine has an out-of-body experience, which has happened).

Right on the money MAgassi

The fact shes a native new Yorker will help to some degree, but the stadium will be 1/2 full tops since its her first match on. And you can't beat Justine by just hitting a big serve. Bea would be sick if she followed that monstrous thing up to net, but I don't see it happening.

Prediction: Henin d. Bielek 6-2 6-2

Whatever happens today, Bea Bielek has gotten to the third round of a Slam. Her ranking was 1000, something but it will be much higher than that when the next list comes out. That's a great accomplishment for someone who has just turned pro. She's played well and seemingly without nerves so maybe she will give Justine a run.;)

Bielek practices on the U.S. Open courts, the crowd and her large crew of family and friends will be out there cheering for her, so she might pull an upset. However, I would be very surprised if Bielek beats Henin. Justine has too much experience and I doubt she will be unnerved by the pro-Bea crowd.

I think Justine will win in two tight sets, 6-4; 7-5.

And the answer is noooooo
7-5 6-1 for Justine although I must say Bielek was quite good for her first grandslam
