Welcome to Pattaya City! The 12th tournament of the Tennis Tipping season. Read the rules and sign-up information and then decide to join!
Playing the game is simple:
- before the tournament start the qualifying and the main draw are made.
- if you're in the qualifying you send in your pick of day 1 matches in a PM to the person running the tournament (including the set ratios for each match). You also send the exact score of one chosen match by the person running the tournament as a tie-breaker. The result you get is used throughout the qualifying rounds
- main draw starts on day 2, all qualifiers and players directly into the main draw send their picks with set ratios and a tie-breaker score to the person running the game
- the results will be posted as soon as possible.
- you have to send your picks, before the first match of the day starts, if you send your picks late, then all the picks for the matches already started or finished won't be counted
- a match will not count in case of a retirement, withdrawal or any late schedule changes
- you get a point for each correctly predicted winner and a bonus point for the correctly predicted set ratio, the person running the game can decide if the set ratios get counted for a certain round (you're still obliged to send them), this depends on the number of matches, if there is a large number of matches played in one day, then set ratios might not get counted.

Sunday - Q Second round
Monday - Q Final
Tuesday - Main Draw First round
Wednesday - Main Draw Second round
Thursday - QF
Friday - SF
Saturday + Sunday - Final
For doubles:
- all above rules still apply
- you still tip the WTA singles matches, not the doubles
- you team up with another player of TT tournament and the score of the team is the combined scores of both players
- for commiting your team, just post a commitment in the relative thread of the TT tournament, like "posterA/posterB is a team"

Marcelo. from Portugal is again our player of the week.
He is the first player who wins this title 2 times a row.:yeah:
He just won the Australian Open, which was his first Grand Slam ever played:bigclap::bowdown:
On his way to the title he has beaten home player Sunny_Boy (WN 23) afterwards he had a super win over ITZ (WN 10):eek:
During the quaterfinal he won against world number 1 player Meelis from Estonia and after that he got into the final with a win against unseeded player kline from Croatia.
In the final noone could stop him, not even RG Moonballer form Israel, who has beaten Dementiva_Dude from Canada in the SF.
Marcelo. jumped into the TOP 40 with his win and now has the chance to climb even higher in the rankings, because the AO were his 3dt tournament ever, in his young career

Dementieva_Dude was the most constant player in January. He reached 2 Final's AND a Final in Sydney as qualifier + was at the SF in Melbourn, with several wins against Top Players like Elwin, Capriati Rules, Drake1980, savestheday91, MH0861, denijs and Schwabenhengst he climbed up the ranks. Dementiva_Dude is definitively the best player in January:yeah::drool::yeah:

yes, this was right.
if TB2,3,4 and 5 had failed to produce a winner, we'd have come back to TB1, and then Andreas/Poiree would have won. However, it seems that TB2 produced a winner, therefore I agree with your decision.

Umm Meelis and Chris 84 are saying that if Moore would have won, we would have won but since Silva won you can move it to TB2.
On a side note, is won/lost games a factor in doubles?
