Who will win this match?

Anne has my money. I think she will be aware that Katie lost to Ayumi so Anne will be determined to win ;)

I think Ayumi is extremely talented and I would put her as the favourite, but she might be too tired after all this week's efforts.

I sure hope so. Imagining Anne as one of the last 4 standing in a WTA event is just :o

I think Anne is the favorite to win given all the tennis Ayumi has been playing but I'm going with Ayumi in 3. :yeah:

well id like to think Anne has chances regardless of how tired Ayumi is...Anne will continue to slip through the draw in 2 :)

Think Morita continue her run at Auckland in 3. Remember, Wozniak won Stanford going the qualifying road.

Anne in 3.

Its going to be very close and it could go either way but i think Anne will win.

Hearts says Anne (obviously)
Head say Ayumi.
Although I thought the same when she faced Carla in round 2

Anne obviously.

Morita also had to call a trainer to work on her leg near the end of her match with Wozniak, so I think all the matches may be getting to her.

A favor request from the short-on-time: when does this match begin in Eastern Standard Time?

Anne in 2 (I hope)

Hope Anne can sneak through in straight sets, but I reckon it'll be a three set win for Special K :)

I would be surprised if Ayumi loses to Keothavong...Morita has a lot more game/talent. But Keothavong is solid, and Ayumi can be a head case...so who knows...

I found it: it's one match away.

Rezai just def Gallovits.
After the short break we will be Dementieva vs. Peer (3 sets?)
After that we have Morita vs.Keothavong.

This one is a total toss up, but i hope Anne can win . My prediction is Anne in 3 sets if she can keep her serve in check ;).

I think you're underestimating Anne. She's obviously improved dramatically in the last 12 months and is definitely the favourite IMO.

She has certainly improved and I've seen her live and was really impressed, but Morita has more upside...who knows...I guess this is really a toss-up.

Morita was playing awesome yesterday, I can't see Anne winning this one unless she finds a way to stop the Ayumi come back for when she is leading in this match. :p

Hopefully it is good qualituy because I will be watching on live stream.

If the Ayumi of 2008 turns up Anne has an amazing shot:o

Ayumi said in her pre-match interview that she is very tired. It seems to be showing. She is missing any spark, at the moment. (And down 0-4. :tape: )
