Did I miss something? :shrug:

Im aware Im probably the only one who doesn't get it. Can someone explain quickly?

Im just a bit confused. Why?

JK. The system didn't change THAT much, they basically doubled the amount of pts players receive (except early rounds in GSs), increased pts in other mandatory events and only best 16 tournaments count to your rankings. These are the main changes (ranks-wise). Why? Ask Larry (who needs fired).

because to make the rankings simpler there now using even bigger numbers lol.

its confusing to a casual fan, as now if you look at the rankings jj looks a mile ahead of serena, yet shes still the same results ahead.

I didnt even notice this till you said it in the other thread :lol:

Did the WTA make a big deal out of it?

It seems a bit stupid to me, doubling everything when they could have left it the same. The only good thing is the early GS points, way to many points were given for reaching round 2.
