Awesome. She's obviously really confident right now closing out these close matches. She has a good shot against Wozniak I think it is as long as she's not too tired.

Oh Marta, Marta. Why do you have to be so hot? :sobbing::sad:

Jan 6th, 2009, 12:38 AM
This makes me feel better about Katie's loss to her!
Morita really starting to live up to her hype, she could be dangerous this year

Marta was 4-1 up in the first set, then Morita made 7 games in a row for 64 20:o
Marta did 9 DF's till then, 3 in one service game:weirdo:
Then suddenly she woke up and won the next 4 games to serve it out finally 64 46
She broke early for 1-0 and lead till 3-2 but then Morita broke Marta back and served out to 0 to lead 3-4.
Morita broke Marta again, but couldn't serve it out. (4-5)
Marta saved 1 MP with ACE#6, then wasted 1 GP and lost finally with DF#12 on MP Morita:smash::weirdo::o

The old Marta was back at 4-1 in first set and 3-1 in 3th set:o
I hope she will do better soon and get it together:o:o:o

4 three-setters in a row. Well done, Ayumi.

Marta. Serves let her down again.

Ayumi

Jan 6th, 2009, 12:52 AM
When Marta led 3-1 in the 3rd I bet Ayumi thought to herself "Now I've got you just where I want you," such is the confidence Ayumi must be feeling when facing a 3rd set deficit at the moment.

Marta'd win if it weren't for her double faults.:o

"It may not have the prestige of centre court but for anybody in Auckland who is not yet back at work the outer courts provide plenty of proximity and intensity - and perhaps less importantly - the best pair of legs spotted at the ASB Classic so far belong to the defeated Domachowska on court four." <from: http://tvnz.co.nz/content/2435421 >
Marta :(
