Unfortunately no. There are a handful of better clay-courters than her.

No.Never. This is not her place. She will win Wimbledon 10 times though.

No. She has only been past the QF stage once in 11 tries.

I'd love to be wrong though.

Don't get carried away there, supergrunt;)

I think she has it in her to win 1 Ao, 1 RG, and 1 more USO. Lots more Wimbledons though:p

I wouldnt say there are a handful....

I'd be shocked if she won it, but then again i'll be shocked by whoever wins it honestly. Without Justine around anyone with a good couple weeks of tennis could come through at the top.

Whats funny is that Venus used to be, believe it or not, a great clay court player. Particularly in 1999 when she had a good run (outside of the bomb out at RG) when she used a lot of topspin.

But thats the thing, if Venus insists on hitting everything flat, she won't be successful. However, if she imparts more spin - which she does against Serena often, but not against anyoen else - then she can do well. That is why Serena has had a better record on clay as of late, because she'll use a lot more topspin to keep the ball in and mvoe opponents around.

Honestly, I think thats where the key is. Venus needs to take some off the ball, use a lot of spin and wait for the right shot. She can do it, but she probably won't.
