Sucks that Monique got injured just after she beat Gajdosova to win that 25k title about 6 months ago now. She hasn't played since then, so this is a little better then I expected. Ranking is going to suffer a little after this week :sad:

But she should build upon this match. Yan is a good player on this surface, and Monique got some solid match practice here. I really hope she gets a MD WC into the AO, but I guess she'll have to battle it out in qualies.
