In the first hotel, girls had big insects, a very old room & yellow water in the bathroom! In the second one, it was a bit better ... but not good enough, air-conditioning wasn't working well and the overall quality of the room wasn't better. Irena woke up with a big lizard on the wall and decided to leave ^^.

Now they are at a 5 stars hotel :p.

Irena Pavlovic agreed to keep a blog of a week for the site Tennis GDF SUEZ during his tournament in Mauritius. After a tiring journey, the Franco-Serbian player was not at the end of its surprises.
Hi everyone!

Welcome to my blog during my week's tournament in Mauritius. I'm happy to share with you on the site Tennis GDF SUEZ my daily in a nice also.

I arrived in Mauritius Friday morning after more 11.30am night flight! I was lucky, the plane was not full and I had two seats for myself alone but for m'allonger impossible to sleep. So I tried to kill time by looking primarily a Hindu movie (subtitled in English) I can not remember the title that spoke of the disease Helzeimer. Très émouvant... Very moving ... And then a French film, "Two days to kill." I spent the rest of the time listening to music on my iPod with a large helmet that I like to use, especially when I fly I cut from the outside and immerse myself in my world, with a dream music!

On leaving the plane, I had the pleasant surprise to find Michelle Gerards, a Dutch player very nice. We took the bus together to reach the hotel. During the trip, Michelle said she had crossed Mary Pierce in the aircraft. Clearly, in the world of tennis, it always ends up cross. Mary is certainly in Mauritius to take a vacation. An hour later a car, discovering the hotel and the beginning of the adventure. By discovering my room, I quickly realized I could not sleep in this hotel: huge cockroaches in the bathroom, bedroom really in bad shape, and cherry on the cake, when I wanted to wash their hands, water was yellow! Same for Michelle in her room, the gallery began, it had to find another hotel.

After an hour of rest, it was at the club. I took the opportunity to make a very light training, history of taking my brands and especially play. Then towards the office of the tournament to try to find an alternative to the hotel. Several players complained about the state of the rooms of this hotel. Luckily, a hotel 40 minutes of the club was available! You should have seen the head receptionist who has seen us recover our bags while we had not even spent a night in his hotel. The second direction with Michelle hotel in a nice neighborhood, facing the beach. But the surprise was in the room: almost identical scenario in a little better anyway. The water was yellow and not the larger room. However, the heat was unbelievable so I left the clim 'lit all night before going to dinner.

Bad surprise when I returned to my room, it was still too hot and a puddle had formed incredible. No choice, I could not change the room, I had to sleep. I was so tired, I had an idea in mind: sleep! Despite the background music next to my room and the incredible heat, I fell on the bed exhausted and I sleep until 5 am the mat. I left the TV on, it was a Ford Boyard Repeated passing the test with spiders and snakes. Vous voyez où je veux en venir ? You see where I am getting? Surprise on the wall opposite my bed, a lizard was in the process of walking. I must say that I have great difficulty with reptiles and insects. I could not get him out of my room. Et ça ne s’arrête pas là. And it does not stop there. Above my head, a kind of giant cockroach (as it does not exist in France, I can assure you). Horrible ! Awful! I was there à 5h00 in the morning, dead tired and unable to back to me.

I waited 7:00 to go take my breakfast and try to change room. I thought I was the only one to have the clim 'broken and cockroaches but not ... The same goes for Michelle. She said she can do more, it will change hotel, it looks especially his brother came specially from Holland for a holiday. Last change of hotel, we take the best, a five-star (much more expensive, you can imagine) and it changes entirely. I finally breathe, the problem of hotel is set and the frame is sublime (see the website of the hotel: www.letelfair.com). (http://66.102.9.104/translate_c?hl=en&sl=fr&tl=en&u=http://www.letelfair.com/&usg=ALkJrhgBYl_Oh8o1ecaF7MW-RjeWWvdLLg)

Mon entraîneur est arrivé samedi matin. My coach arrived Saturday morning. It was well organized in the afternoon with two tennis coaching and a physical before going to take a quiet dinner in one of several restaurant of the hotel. Ce soir, c’était resto italien. Tonight was Italian restaurant. At a time when I write, I'm in my room, it is past midnight here and I struggle to keep your eyes peeled! One thing is certain, I would have no problems with cockroaches that night! Quoi que, on ne sait jamais. Whatever, you never know. Je vous raconterai ça demain. I tell you it tomorrow.

And then a French film, "Two days to kill."
I spent the rest of the time listening to music on my iPod with a large helmet that I like to use, especially when I fly I cut from the outside and immerse myself in my world, with a dream music!

Results are available ; Cindy, Chloé & Samantha qualified :yeah:.
But I must say that this draw is surprisingly tough, it is worth all the European 25k! Good to see that so many players travelled so far to compete ... and rest in the sun!

Allez Cindy, Yakimova will be tough but she can make the upset!

"Mauritius Animals:
First the good news: there are no dangerous animals in Mauritius. No poisoning snakes, huge scorpions etc.
But it’s a tropical country – that means we have a lot of small crawling bugs, flying cockroaches etc. The best police against mosquitoes (no malaria in Mauritius!!!) are the geckos in your room. Don’t worry, they don’t bite you. They eat ants, small spiders etc. "
