2008 YEC in Doha

Vera has beaten Sveta and Ana and is in the semifinals. She plays Jelena first, both of them are in the semis Saturday.

She has been playing strong. I believe she has a solid shot at winning the championship.

What a good win for Vera. I wish I could have seen the match. She really is in great form. She does have a chance of winning the whole thing, but it will be tough. I think she will play well in the semis but I'm not entirely sure if she is mentally ready to win the YEC?
