Weak matches happen to everyone. When you don't have a forehand you'll manage nothing. I don't know why it happened in Miami. A week before in Indian Wells I play great, I was in QF. Additionally, de Brito is not 15! She and her coach claims so but noone believes it. (!!!)

It's hard to describe her game today. Her and JJ didn't take it very seriously and were more just laughing and having fun. Michelle's volley's should improve though. Michelle was in very good spirits despite the loss. No grunt in doubles today.

Michelle is really struggling today with Voskoboeva. The first set is just about over, oh now it's 6-2. Wish I could see what was happening. I would have thought that Michelle would have already broken through to near the top, with her huge whippy forehand. With her trademark grunting, I'm really looking forward to the first time she plays Maria S. That will be a very, very loud match (with very, very hard shots). At this stage I think she's quite dangerous to even top players, but seems to still lose quite a lot to the average wta girls. She doesn't seem to understand yet how to bring out her highest level at will. I guess the match isn't over yet though, she needs a good start in the second set.

She's levelled the match, 1 set each now. I think Michelle will win now.

Good luck vs Dulgheru, she is a tough opponent :unsure:

I was there for the entire match. Amazing match! Both players giving everything. Michelle with amazing winners as usual, a lot of unforced errors because she risk too much. Dulgheru read well Michelle game and started to slow down the points be doing moon balls, than doing some well placed shots oblying Michelle to move a lot on court. Michelle atacked Dulgheru defended. But Michelles ground strokes were to much for Dulgheru in the end. Deserved win for Michelle. But Dulgheru has a good game and good fair play. The referee in one of the sets was lost as it concerns to the match score. In one of the sets it was 3-3 adv Dulgheru, Dulgheru serving but the referee was saying it was 3-4 30-15 for Dulgheru and Michelle serving. How was it possible!? Then the crowd started to scream, and finally after the referee after talking with one of his assistant corrected the score.
