Eleni will be back in action next week in a carpet surface tournament in the tiny town of Ortisei, Italy(literally, I looked it up and only 4,000 people live there, so why the hek was it chosen to host such a big event?). Anyways, Anna Gerasimou will play qualies there too. There is a very strong field, but hopefully Eleni can play as well as she did against Bondarenko in the first set throughout the tournament.

Thanks for heads up, Hellas. Hopefully Eleni will do well there.

another bad match!she played so crap once again.so many points went to waste!!!her serves where below average!i really want to know if she wants to play tennis anymore!her shoulders and face after a missed ball or point where facing the floor!her energy wasnt there...i dont know what to say to her anymore!we all said to her get a new coach etc etc but what has she done differently?nothing!who is coaching her?jasmine?why doesnt she ask for help?there are so many good coaches out there!i lost all of my faith in her!everybody is trying and moves forward(ie.jankovic, bartoli, safina etc) and eleni is moving backwards!
and please dont say its because of her injury!if its the injury then she should have taken the ranking protective option and stay home and get better!
enough is enough!
sort out ur priorities eleni!u r a talented player but talend alone does take u far!try like jelena tried and get better!

there is an update and video of eleni in the following website www.tennisnews.gr

they say that eleni tried her best but couldnt progress to the next round etc etc and that her knee is still bothering!
what a lot of b...shit!if she doesnt feel fit then why play?stay home rest and make baby steps!also if ur knee is not in a good condition then why play doubles and singles as well?honestly who are kidding?

whats the face  for?
did u think that they win?yea right!
eleni needs to train and train hard in order to get back where she "belongs".not just run up and down under jasmines instructions!for god sake she needs a real coach and not someone like jaz or similar ie daniel!
i would advise her (eleni)that now amelie let her coach go to give him a ring!he is only an hour away from germany that she so much love.
She finally needs to sort her priorities out!!!a player that managed to beat henin twice shouldnt play the way eleni is playing at the moment!!!(and its not because of her knee).

Lol. Forever rafter, where are you from in Poland? Is it near Krakow? If you live in Krakow, then you can go to the tournament on your lunch break.

I live in Warsaw, it's about 5 hours by train from Krakow or about 50 minutes by plane. Lunch break won't do then ;)
