This looked easy for Serena, but there were alot of close games which she scraped through. The CT in the first set was in fact decisive, so real tough luk for Cornet. However the world #1 and US Open champ moves confidently on to the final

This was a great match between these two - unfortunatelt the CT order was decisive, as in the first semi. The first set was a really tense affair with both players having several set points before Golovin snatched it on the breaker. The French Open champ goes on to face #1 Serena Williams on the final. The two played in RR stage, with Williams coming out on top in 2 tight tiebreak sets. So, we are expecting another great match!

Serena steamrolled Golovin in the first set, but Golovin really found her form in the end, only allowing Serena 1 game in the final 2 sets. The CT in the third was decisive - it shows just how close this season's YEC was, with both semis and the final coming down to a CT!! Serena is still way ahead at #1, whilst Golovin jumps up from #11 to #5! BRING ON SEASON 3!!! :banana:
