Good list and a awesome looking stadium. I don't understand why they have like a giant building in the middle of no where though, it looks extremely out of place.

Anyway good luck to all the Australians here. Hopefully they don't all pull out.

It's a confidence thing I'd say.Chen haven't played much on the circuit and though she would be directly into the qual draw,she had actually come through a pre-qualifying tournament.She could secrectly be a threat to all the other players even in the main draw.

What a lousy event compared to Poitiers! Only the top 3 seeds here would have made the main draw and look at the qualifying, only 2 world ranked players even entered! With all these seeds crumbling, this is a points bonanza for some lucky lowrankers! It looks like Gajdosova will reenter the top 100 through playing dud Asia-Pacific ITFs yet again!

God, I was thinking a loss from there would cause a bit of havoc in the tennis aus section. Kind of relieved Jess won, but disappointed for Sophie. Wish she got put in a better section of the draw. Her ranking probably doesn't reflect where she is as a player right now.

Good job Jess, I think it is a great effort to make the quarter finals here. Hopefully she can make it further. 40 points would awesome.

So Jess will have to face Chan, a fellow iWatch player :armed:
GOOD LUCK :scared:

Good luck also to Jarka against Chang. Chang is going to be a great player, she has all the tools to make it on tour. Interesting also to see how Lertcheewakarn goes, Chang is the better player, but Lertcheewakarn is the next big thing for Thailand :)

Just out of curiosity;
Have any of our Taipei friends gone to watch any of this tournament? Also, is Court 2 the Centre Court? Makes sense if Chan and Chang, the two locals, have been put on Centre Court, but that's a funny numbering system :lol:

Because they set three carpets in an arena, from left to right -Court1 Court2 Court3. Court 3 is practice court, so the Court2 is in the middle of the arena.
By the way, they will change the order of play which they released few hours ago. ( ESPN's aquiring.... )
