Renalicious Sep 22nd, 2008, 12:58 PM Well, I'd think that's pretty straight foward lol... It dampens the vibration when you hit the ball  gets rid of the 'shock' you get through your hands. I personally never use one, I like the sound better when I don't use one. wild.river Sep 22nd, 2008, 03:01 PM thats what i thought but i never noticed a shock :o FedAce Sep 28th, 2008, 12:59 PM thats what i thought but i never noticed a shock :o yes i agree that it is a good idea to use a dampner always. Today's rackets tend to be light and produces alot of vibrations especially on misshits. WWW.otzsports.com has some very nice dampners at cheap prices. Nice colors too. I might be taking a trip to Canada next year, do you want to meet and hit sometime ? I offer free lessons to beautiful girs.:) | |
