OK, guys, Stanford under guidance of Coach Whitlinger has really loaded up on great talents with 2 new Freshmen, Bradley Klahn and Ryan Thacher. They were both ranked in top 5 in the nation in boys 18's. also Alex Clayton is coming back for his 2nd year and will be favored to win the NCAA individual crown. also, Matt Bruch will be back for his senior season who is 2 time Pac-10 champion himself. With difficult rebuilding years behind us now, Can we win the NCAA division 1 crown this coming season ? Should Stanford be the favorite to win with loaded lineup like this one ? we will get a good idea in the fall during ITA D'Novo all american championships in October when the guys compete with the best in the country. What do you guys think ?:)

In the past couple of years Stanford has had relatively weak recruiting classes (hence their slump in the subsequent years). They only have recently started picking things up again with Bruch and Clayton. My question though is what happened in those years where they had no top players. Did top players turn Stanford down and go to other schools? Or did they just do a bad job at recruiting?

With that being said, they should be much stronger this year although I think it's really going to depend on how well the freshman adjust to the college level.
