Well I was surprised she doesn't have a thread yet, so here goes.
She has qualified for the 25K Rockhampton event. Bad news is that she plays Broady in the 1st round.

Jocelyn Rae lost the quarter final 7-6(5) 7-5 to Olivia Rogowska. This is a very close score, even if it was over in two sets. So I expect we will be seeing even better results soon.

3 Michaella Krajicek NED VS Jocelyn Rae GBR WC
Played her twice last year, (both on grass) and lost. However, they were both really tight and Jocelyn definitly has the game to cause the upset. :D

Congrats Joss, i didn't expect you to win this! :p
I met Jocelyn at Wimbledon qualies last and she's gotta be at least 6'2" and probably closer to 6'3". Anyone know how tall she is?
Very cute and nice in person btw.
Clearly taller than Fed.

Joss has been named in the GB Fed Cup squad. Does anybody understand the reasoning behind that?

She'll be on the sideline...I guess just to motivate her. I'm surprised they didn't go with Whybourn, Broady, or Moore.

Well, she justified her inclusion by winning the doubles against Switzerland with Heather, after Anne and Heather had lost both their singles.
So well done Joss.

Sears believes she might soon have a big decision to make about her future.
"Joss has got a natural instinct for doubles. She has a good serve and volley and her physique lends itself to doubles," added Sears.
"I've always been slightly disappointed she has not transferred that into the singles.
"She has a big decision to make whether to become a specialised doubles player.
"I spoke to her about it at length during the Fed Cup. If she wants to pursue a singles career she needs to dominate on the ITF tour, otherwise it's a non-starter."

http://www.thisisnottingham.co.uk/sport/Notts-star-Rae-winning-fitness-battle-ahead-AEGON-Trophy/article-3575966-detail/article.html
JOCELYN Rae is winning her fight to be fit for this month's AEGON Trophy after recovering from a long-standing foot injury.
"I will still play singles but there has been more of a conscious shift towards doubles recently because of the injury," added Rae.
"There is less court coverage and I was picking up injuries from playing singles so I thought it was the way to go.
"Colin and I had a great time in the Commonwealths and I really enjoyed playing with Heather at Wimbledon last year.
"I have been thinking about playing more doubles for a while because of the injuries but I will still be factoring singles into my schedule.
"I can't wait for the grass court season now and it'll be the perfect way to return by playing in Nottingham."
