exactly! this is great! hope to see her in top 100 in the next few months. my guess is she'll stay in europe throughout the summer, and then try and get into one of the indoor tourneys in the fall. hope for a full time tier I-III season next year...

Since this season I dont want to comment her 25K results... but this result realy promissing (b/c it's final). I think this final scoreline is perfect way to finish once forever with 25K tournaments :wavey: for former TOP5 player (except if she comeback at 35 like Kimiko Date).

The ITF website (www.itftennis.net (http://www.itftennis.net)) shows upcoming ITF tournaments and their entry lists.

Jelena is scheduled for two more 25K's in Germany. The week of 28th July and the 4th August. Hew new ranking means she'll probably be seeded #1 in these events - or very high!

Good stuff! I think shes ready to step up to the 50k Bronx event and has a shot at that title with this kind of form

She should be #3 in Bad Saulgau behind Hradecka and Schaefer.

Yes it is if you knew what she's gone through personally/emotionally after she got that high in 2002. Plus she's tried before to make a comeback and she gave up the other two times when things got tough. Results like this are nice to see because it means she really cares about her comeback/tennis life again. it's been years since she cared like this.

Unfortunately she's not entered into the 50K in the Bronx but is on the entry list for a 50K in Russia (on clay of course:rolleyes:!) the same week!!!!!!

I just hope she plays USO qualies:)!
