Mauresmo for sure. Hers is just sad. Bartoli's slump was expected almost as an inevitability and Safarova/Krajicek were never that consistant to begin with.

Not only that but the others are relatively young and have their whole careers ahead of them, which makes the Mauresmo slump just as pathetic because now even the brain dead ESPN commentators are implying that she should retire. There's almost no hope for her.

There have been so many!

Mirza, Kracijek, the Austrians, Molik, Petrova, Bartoli, Vaidisova, even Davenport to an extent. But the biggest slumps for me are Mauresmo and Safarova.... its dissappointing to say the least that such a proven and experienced champion and such a promising, talented rising player have had such a bad season.

Oh and what about Chakvetadze? She's kept her head above water so to speak with a COUPLE of solid results but she hasnt done anything special yet....

Holy crap, Czink. :spit: Her three wins all came from Brisbane?

Two wins in Brisbane. And she went out impressively there losing to Henin in a 3rd set tiebreak. But after that, pretty much nothing.

She did also win a match in Miami, although beating Arantxa Rus on a hardcourt in a 3rd set tiebreaker is hardly a result that you would write home about.
