In the US its the peace symbol, although my friends and I tend to tilt it sideway instead of holding it straight up like the letter V.

cute haircut.

gonna be a problem for playing tennis though, it has to be longer so it can be pulled back, or shorter so it doesn't get in your vision when you play and your hair flips around. this is borderline short enough, but she'll probably need to wear a headband or something... yep, hm, hm, gonna be a problem.

I can't read it, but she is saying that she is working hard in rehabilitation. You can see in the picture the hospital rehab area, and the people she is with are helping her with rehab.

i don't know japanese, but some words are similar to chinese, so i can guess the meaning

Morigami has recovered and was out of the hospital yesterday.
blah blah blah...
She stayed in the hospital for 2 weeks.
blah blah blah...
Morigami injured her ligaments and operation was done to fix them.
blah blah blah...

I may be wrong, so the japanese better translate it again

For asians that V thing doesn't have a literal meaning. It's just a cute little symbol

P.S. a symbol for 1 culture doesn't necessarily mean it's the same for another. Learn not to be a bigot.

lol, this is fun.
Here's my translation based on my Chinese understanding of Kanji.

Morigami just checked out of the hospital yesterday after two weeks in it.
During the period, she did rehab with two other athletes.
Here's the photo (that is taken today):
Mr. Park, the left one, is a J-League footballer.
The one on the right is Mr. 瀧口, but I don't know what's his specialty.
Mr. Park broke his crucifix(?) ligament in his last match and underwent a surgery.
His post-surgery recovery seems to be satisfying.
She wishes him best luck.:p

I dont get whats so funny. It's a black thing (in America) so obviously you might not know anything about it). Here is a pic of a popular rapper here in the states posing with the sideways V.
