Being a fan, I think that she can.

In the hard court events this year so far, she has had some pretty decent results, and she has made it pretty far. Although they have not played before, I think that if Petrova is not prepared, she could be in for a rude awakening. Dominika has a pretty solid game, and there will be some trouble for Petrova as Domi will most likely try a lot of trick plays and shots on her. I think that this match, at least in my opinion, is well worthy of an UPSET ALERT.

Anyone else agree?

If Petrova plays like she did in the Wimbledon quarterfinal, you can kiss her goodbye.

I expect Cibulkova to win, unfortunately.

That is very true.

But I think for the most part, the whole "never played" thing will be a huge factor. It will really just be a matter of who wants it more, or who can take advantage of their opponents mistakes. I think Domi has a pretty decent chance.
