Pretty much. Venus could make it with strong GS performances.
Elena is in the top 9, yes.

There is still a long way to go, they need at least 2500 points to qualify at least so Patty definitely has a chance. And she can still be an alternate. :)

It's gonna be tough but I believe Venus can make it and Daniela too. Come on girls. :D

A grand slam victory by you know who projects her right into it. Way too soon to judge with two slams left to play.

people seem to forget theres always 1 player that qualifies that dosen't play, venus last year, so anything can happen a couple of great tournaments an injusy and any of the top 20 can still nick a place. i mean where was safina in the race before berlin?

Ivanovic, Jankovic and Sharapova are in.

It is more close in the next players but probably Serena and Svetlana will be there.

for the next 3 spots it will be close race...

And I thought it was bad the last 2 years.Certainly better than Dementiewa not being able to win a set, let alone a match there for the past 3 editions she's played.

And this is about DementieVa how?

At least DementieVa has a personality anyway and doesn't just wait for errors. Exciting stuff indeed.

Ana, Maria, Jelena, Serena, Sveta and Elena already IN.
Fight for 7 and 8 place will be between Dinara, Agnieszka, Venus, Patty and Vera.

Hantuchova has been injured. Venus has to win Wimbledon to make it, but she might do that. It's not over.

We aren´t in the middle of the tennis year, so all of that can and will change!

Aga had 16 winners in the match against Nadia in the second set only. This is not waiting for errors!
