:bounce::bounce::bounce: TAMMY!!!! WELL DONE!!!! 2nd career title

Dina  better luck next time, wasted 5 or 6 break points in the last game from 0-40 and then a few times advantage.

Tammy wasted two match points at 5-3 and I started getting scared about Dina's comebacks from 3-5 down but third time lucky for Tammy and woohoo!!!! :worship:

How on earth Dinara lose her career first grasscourt final??? All seems perfect for her since start of this match and she plays like in her career best matches: she give opponent to win 1st set and to lead 5-2 in 2nd and to have MP at 5-3... but still lose at end

wow from tamarine, she's really a grass court specialist. dinara didn't made the best choice. she should have played a clay court game, with balls bouncing high. instead she played like she had 6ft player against her :o. well, good tournament nevertheless.

she just wasn't the best player today. that's tennis and that's life. tamarine is a grass specialist, dinara made bad choices...the result is logical. i'm just afraid dinara's back is hurting... she made a lot of unforced errors today and yesterday i noticed she often stretched her back at the end of the match.

Incredible and well deserved win for Tammy, she's one of the best on grass, maybe she could go further and make it to the QF in Wimbly after all these 4th rounds, she could follow the steps of another asian star, Yayuk Basuki!!

Absolutely no shame for Dinara to loose against her

And I agree with Pockit2006 that this success is one of the best so far this year, the kind of victory that makes you really happy for a player!

Tammy saved eleven of 12 break points held against Safina, especially saving 5 break points in the final game. Tammy also won three of the 6 break points(50%) she held, whereas Safina converted only one of her 12 break points(8%).
