Ok people ....i am fully anticipating an all williams final. Why? the last time a sixth and seventh seed were in the same draw since 2001 was in 06 wimbledon. I fully hope this trend continues coz i bet Serena is still mad as hell about RG. You could tell she fully expected to win it...but then again she fully expects to win everything which is why i love her. Anyway ..can't wait.

oo he's saying that there's a great chance for the WS of being on opposite sides of the draw

I think thierry means that since 2001 the 6th and 7th seeds have only been in the same half of the draw once - Wimbledon 06. I presume this is just grand slam draws.

I wouldn't count on Vee and Rena being on opposite sides of the draw since they don't seed women the same as men at Wimbledon. I expect Sharapova and Jankovic to be on the same side which is good if they do the draw fairly. Except nothing is fair when it comes to Sharapova and her cake-walk draws.

you know, even if they're on opposite sides, that doesn't mean they 'll meet in the final :o

when was the last time the williams sister both reached the semi finals of the same slam? so chances of them both reaching the final are very very small!
