With her recent form I think she's able to beat so many top 100 players ! I wish her to reach 3rd round at least ! She deserves it !!

Youlia . Totally missed her match! But this was a good tournament for her that should enable her to come back in top 200.

Severine Bremond had mixed feelings about the victory that took her into the main draw at Wimbledon.

The 2006 Wimbledon quarter-finalist qualified today after sweeping aside friend and compatriot Youlia Anne Fedossova in straight sets 6-0, 6-4

"I'm sad for her as she has everything to be in the main draw of Wimbledon. She's French, we practise sometimes and we are good friends. It's hard to play her the last round of qualifying," Bremond said.

While the duel may have been difficult mentally, it didn't translate to the court. From the start 28-year-old Bremond's performance was watertight and she raced through the first set without dropping a game.

Fedossova briefly regrouped in the second, holding her serve until Bremond broke her to go 4-3 up and eventually skip away with the match.

"I think I played very good. It was a good win on grass and I think I did everything in my game to make her play a little more," Bremond said.

"My backhand slice she doesn't like, I was trying to make her not play her best game. The conditions are tough, the weather…I'm happy to be in the draw now."
