I know right.

Just nothing going on!

Quite dull. If Sveta wins Eastbourne will she be #3?

it is sad that the ordina open tier 3 is far more exciting than eastbourne tier 2, and eastbourne has been bigged up as 'the' build up event to wimbledon.

in fairness to the russians they have at least showed up this week with sveta, lena d, chaky, safina, vera, kirilenko and nadia all playing. if only other players from other countries had the work ethic of the russians.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Wozniacki beat Kuznetsova tomorrow, so don't expect a peaceful draw!

...and you're saying this when the top seed hasn't even played her first match.

Top Has Played lost in Doubles with Amelie,Embarassing but they enjoyed it seems 61 62
I don't expect Svetlana to try her best etc before wimbledon,We don't have the quality WE WANTED LAST YEAR LIKE JJ VS MASHA 3 SETS BIRMINGGAM JHJH VS AMELIE 3 SETS EASTBOURNE.

Her serve was wonky in doubles, and Caro is due for a breakthrough against a top player. And I'm an enormous Kuznetsova fan. I'm not saying it's a sure-thing she'll lose, but I certainly wouldn't be shocked.

The funny thing is that here in the US, we'll get incredible coverage of this tourney--3 QFs, both SFs and the final on TTC--and it could conceiveably wind up as devoid of top players as Birmingham.

the grass court warm up events are nothing without henin, sharapova & jankovic - they were all regulars these events, whether it be birmingham, eastboure or that other one with the really long name
