All win-loss stats on wtatour.com are :bs: since they mess up real matches (WTA main draws) with WTA qualies, ITF and even ITF qualies.

All win-loss stats on wtatour.com are :bs: since they mess up real matches (WTA main draws) with WTA qualies, ITF and even ITF qualies.Actualy biggest problem with wtatour.com stats is brainless method to not put some qualifier condition (like for example Players which played atleast 10 matches, or atleast 3-setters, or atleast 10 TB, or minimum 10 matches at some surface... etc). They present you 100 "all time best" where about 90 is beginers which played just one or two matches from some category and won (so have 100% perfect record) which is totaly useless :tape::tape::tape:. They have complete all-time WTA pro matches data-basis, but because brainless administrator/moderator of stats section all their "CAREERS" stats is useless, stupid presented and confussed b/c all that "played once/twice and win" unknown players which dominate like 80%-90% majority at all theirs "all-time" W/L lists.

wait, maybe i will find a stat where i´m better then Steffi3-Set stats is actualy one of most interesting and relevant stats in tennis. If we ignore Puchkova and that woman from Spain bizzare 3-set impressive achivments this current TOP15 "greatest" list is very interesting and intrigue. Many active young players is very good placed. In past youngest players have biggest problems with 3-setters but this new generation obviously dont have any problems and played very well since start their pro-careers. For example players like Henin or Dementieva have fantastic W/L records (more than 75%) in 3-setters last 5 seasons, but b/c bad 3-set stats in teenage years no their names on this TOP15 list.

P.S.
This is thread about 3-setters stats and bizzare "GOAT#2" Olga, but OK... Tara will be 16 in August so i will edit title.

In batle of legendary WTA Giants Stoop stoped Puchkova on her impressive run to be best WTA ever(t) player in 3-set W/L ratio. We all know how good is Puchkova in 3-setters, but this time 350th ranked opponent is simple too good. Georgie Stoop played this season 20 matches and already have ONE TOP300 victory before match against Olga. In her todays 6-4 2-6 3-6 lose Olga also have her chances, her serve is so well today (42% 1st serve in, only 26 DF's) but at end won Stoop which already have ONE three set wins this season in 5 3-set matches.

To overtake Steffi again on 3-setter ALL-TIME list Olga needs now 3 wins in the row (3-setters).

Cp6uja
Jul 14th, 2008, 01:22 PM
I thought Dementieva had a great 3 sets winning record. In last 5 seasons Dementieva realy have impressive 75-23 W/L stats in 3-setters (76.5%!). But her overall stats because mediocre stats before she is 22 (57-58, 49.6%) is not enough to be at TOP15 of ALL TIME list of best WTA 3-setters in Open Era. Elena overall 3-sets W/L stats is 132-81 (62%). BTW #16 on list is Justine Henin with 66.5% which will be TOP3 overall (75%) without her average oppening three teenage season (where she 20-23).

On other hand we have several opposite cases when players after (very) good sta(r)ts drop from TOP15-EVER list like Venus Williams with average 3-set results (14-13) since 2006. So we will see how many of active "youngsters" (Sharapova, Ivanovic, Vaidisova, Chakvetadze, Kuznetsova, and of course queen Puchkova) will survive at end.
