Jun 16th, 2008, 05:56 PM
(see my poll)

Jun 16th, 2008, 06:00 PM
Sybille Bammer
Nicole Vaidisova
Shahar Peer
Marion Bartoli

Jun 16th, 2008, 06:04 PM
Peer, Schiavone, Bammer. Not sure which I would pick.

Jun 16th, 2008, 06:04 PM
all players except petrova chakvetadze cibulkova

Jun 16th, 2008, 06:05 PM
Marion!I want to beat last year finalist!

Jun 16th, 2008, 06:05 PM
Schnyder or Peer. Neither of them particularly give a shit about grass IMO.

Jun 16th, 2008, 06:06 PM
Bartoli for sure!

Jun 16th, 2008, 06:06 PM
I dont want to say Marion, but I guess I have to
I just hope something changes between now and Wimbledon.

Jun 16th, 2008, 06:07 PM
Bartoli for sure

Jun 16th, 2008, 06:07 PM
Cibulkova on grass probably. She also got trashed by Brenda there last year ;)

She is a very good player on all courts - but not on grass.

Jun 16th, 2008, 06:08 PM
Bartoli or Petrova or Razzano

Jun 16th, 2008, 06:09 PM
Bammer or Peer.

Jun 16th, 2008, 06:10 PM
Peer or Schiavone  They're players who don't like grass and have struggled with their form recently.

Marion is an obvious choice with recent form, but I wouldn't want to risk her turning it on, cos then i would be in serious trouble :bolt:

Jun 16th, 2008, 06:11 PM
Peer all the way.

Jun 16th, 2008, 06:13 PM
Domi

Jun 16th, 2008, 06:14 PM

Jun 16th, 2008, 06:16 PM
I would also want to draw Dementieva because a match vs. her is like heaven.

Jun 16th, 2008, 06:30 PM
Really almost all of them would give a decent unseeded player a good opportunity to get into the final 32. I think the only two I would be apprehensive about would be Petrova and Chakvetadze. I think those two will be tough to bump off before the round of 32. But all the others are just great opportunities for a few lucky players to make a little bit of a name for themselves.

Jun 16th, 2008, 06:34 PM
she doesnt stand a chance against all this ball bashers

Jun 16th, 2008, 06:40 PM
anyone on this list is fine...

Jun 16th, 2008, 06:44 PM
"Rainer says the only thing grass is good for is smoking"

Jun 16th, 2008, 07:10 PM
(32) (or 33) Catalina Castano ;)

Jun 16th, 2008, 07:46 PM
People are so quick to write Marion off.

The obvious choice in this poll is Patty IMO.

Jun 16th, 2008, 08:07 PM
i pick razzano

Jun 16th, 2008, 08:10 PM
Bartoli for sure...

Chris 84
Jun 16th, 2008, 08:16 PM

Jun 16th, 2008, 08:51 PM
Venus Williams

Jun 16th, 2008, 08:53 PM
I voted for Bammer, but most of those players either are in a slump or suck on grass...so there will be at least 9 lucky unseeded players. (Not counting Cibulkova)

Maria Croft

Bartoli, not only is she not playing her best but playing her first match defending all those points she must be nervous.

Jun 16th, 2008, 09:23 PM
Schnyder. She'd rather take the grass court season off and go on vacation.

Jun 16th, 2008, 09:59 PM
100% Schiavone. I don't think there can be an argument for anyone else.

Jun 16th, 2008, 10:42 PM
I said Vaidisova, but there are definitely others. I don't know about Bartoli though, she has been slumping hardcore, but she did make the finals last year... if she could find that form I would NOT want to meet her in the first round.

why is hantuchova isn't in the poll.? Is she pulled out of wimbledon already.
I would wan't to draw ana. ;)
or hantuchova would be my second option.
I don't wan't to draw any of these players. :p

Force myself to pick one and I go with Razzano. Seems the weakest overall based on results the past few years. Am I right?

I'm not sure about Hantuchova's Wimbledon participation, as it could go either way.

Anyhow, normally she is a pretty good grass player, so I didn't include her in the poll.
