SuperNa won Gold Coast coming back from an injury that took her out of the courts for 6 months. She defeated Bammer, Schnyder, Vaidisova and Azarenka in the final on her run for the title.

She got injured again later in the year. After reach SF in Antwerp and Doha (beating Jankovic and Chakvetadze), she has not played more tournaments this year. At that time, she was top 8 in the Race.

SuperNa is back. And it seems like she is so hungry of tennis ;) Definitely a good result to start. She choked a bit in the second set, where she was leading 3-1, and then lost 3 games in a row. She saved 2 BPs that would have been 3-5, and won those 3 last games of the match :singer: Hope she stays away from injurys this time... and finally achieves what she deserves  She has no points to defend in the rest of the year.

She will play winner of Petrova v Peer in R2

SuperNa won't be seeded in Wimbledon, where she reached the QF in her first apperance in the MD of the tournament. Watch out girls :rocker2:

I had idea Na Li was back until I saw it on Eurosport and I raced over to here. Congrats to Na Li. I've always had this feeling about Na Li that if she didn't have injuries she would rule the world. I also feel like Na Li teases us because she never plays that often; she plays so sporadically because of her injuries. grrr

she has no points to defend wall year now which is great for her if she stays healthy and has a good year! She could really soar up the rankings!

A lot of people including myself have always compared Ana Ivanovic to Lindsay Davenport, but when discussing the actual stroke movements, rotation and hitting style Na Li is much more like Lindsay. I often hear that sweet spot on Na Li's shots just like Lindsay's. Na Li has that ability to just push people back because her strokes are sooo hard and flat.

Well done Na! If she wasnt injured, this girl would already be top 10! :bounce:

Great to see Na back where she belongs. It seems that she can never get a decent run without a problem. I do not expect anything different this time, however, if she manages to keep playing she will get into the top 10 eventually.
