Just a few months ago, Nicole reaching the SF here only to choke the match away to "Misa" or to somebody even more shite (if that is possible) would have me fuming.

Right now, I'd take it. I'd be delighted if it happened, I'd be delighted if Nicole reached the SF only to lose ignominiously like she always does, because I don't believe for a minute that she'll even get there.

That's just how bad things are.

Nicole played really well today, tonnes of winners, returned well, dominated. Dechy was slicing everything in the first set and got steam-rollered, went for a lot more in the second but by the end Nicole was far too good.

I do have pictures but I'm figuring out how to get them to a decent size and get them on here, I'll edit later.
