I don't want to jinx her, but Krajicek is on the verge of winning her first match of the year. She's currently up 6-2 4-1 against Poutchek.

I hate to say it but I think Jeyaseelan's 17 straigth losses in 2001 were all on WTA MDs :sobbing:

I dont think its fair to exclude Bye, they arent the best for sure but Im pretty sure Bye defeated Dokic at some point in 2004

logically you are correct.
Officially they do get ranking points for the bye but they would not count as a win.

Currently it looks like Schiavone among named players. 0-7 this year, lost last match of 2013 for 8 in a row altogether. Vinci is at 6 for 2014, 7 overall, Medina Garigues 3 in 2014, 5 overall.

Back in 2010 it was Arantxz Rus who lost through Wimbledon and broke the losing streak at the ITF Middelburg Netherlands July 1, 2013 against Ksenia Palkina (KGZ) rank 388 6-1 6-2.

That period of time must have been horrific for her.:scared::scared::scared:

ESPN - The current 17-match WTA main-draw losing streak by Arantxa Rus, which equals ( don't know who the other player is}the longest WTA Tour losing streak on record.
